Our recent project developed a novel 4P-based (product, price, promotion, place) marketing strategy for the local cosmetics sector in Taiwan's biotech industry. A questionnaire was distributed to cosmetic manufacturers and the results were analyzed using factor analysis. The proposed 4P strategy can help cosmetic manufacturers increase market share and provide a more objective outcome for decision-making than conventional approaches. It also offers guidelines for an efficient marketing policy to decrease costs and improve competitiveness for Taiwan's biotech industry.

Background: Safe, timely and accessible essential surgery and anesthesia is now integral to universal health coverage with the passage of World Health Organization Resolution
68/15. In the past, hospital-based surgical assessment surveys and indices were critical for advocacy, illustrating real infrastructure deficits and needs. The Lancet
Commissions on Global Surgery goals for 2030 and its indicators, targeting anesthesia, obstetrics and surgery in low-income countries, indicated the creation of a new global surgery index.
Methods: Indicator thresholds and data were identified and collected from World Health Organization public data sets and available literature. Quintile categories were used to assign points and descriptive statistics were used generated indices of low-income countries, as well as illustrating data collection needs.
Results: A Lancet Commissions on Global Surgery indicator-based index was generated.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea had the lowest surgical capacity index at
9.09%; Ethiopia and Sierra Leone had the highest at 81.81%. The average equaled
60.41%. 6 out of 17 indicators had no reported data; while only cesarean section rate had reported data from all LICs.
Conclusion: This Lancet Commissions on Global Surgery indicator-based index can be used in real-time surgical system capacity-building (such as infrastructure planning and assessment for expanding best practices in low-income countries) to achieve safe, timely and accessible global essential surgery and anesthesia by 2030. Despite the WHA
Resolution, data collection gaps may slow the pace of attaining that vision. Thus, stakeholders can use this tool to aid in assuring surgical access, quality improvement, and stronger data collection.

This study investigates the relationship between service quality, patient satisfaction, word of mouth WOM , and revisit intention among dental patients in a clinic, Thailand. The research employed a quantitative approach in data collection for statistical analysis. Quota sampling equally among four age groups was used, and 352 completed copies of self administered questionnaires were returned. The proposed theoretical framework was identified the model adopting PLS SEM. Findings reveal that patient satisfaction is a mediator between service quality and its outcomes of WOM and revisit intention. Revisit intention can be predicted by patient satisfaction by 53.4 percent Beta=0.731, p 0.001,R2=0.534 , and WOM can be explained by patient satisfaction by about 42.9 percent Beta=0.655, p 0.001, R2=0.429 . The study was limited to private dental practice a dental clinic . Thus, the extension to clinics around this area should be considered. Moreover, the researcher suggested comprehensive coverage of other predictors in further research. Outline
-Defining the scope of the recruitment work plan, nursing residency enhancement, and career development projects.
-Allocation of responsibilities to stakeholders of the project departments.
-Estimate and create workable timelines and activities for each team.
-Note down the budget for the project.
The project involves an action plan to ensure quality improvement in the nursing profession. It is based on the fact that there is a significant shortage of nursing practitioners, which directly affects their quality of service. The action plan itself involves defining the nature of the recruitment work plan, which will be in connection to the newly graduated nurses with no experience and using their feedback on the job to determine if they will retain them. The work plan will involve questionnaire interviews, group sessions, and one-on-one interviews about the state of the job as the nurse continues.
The action plan will also include research on the state of nursing residency facilities at different medical institutions and later crafting proposals to the medical center and the government department involved in their nursing residency facilities with recommendations. Th ...

Conduct a case study analysis and write 5-6 pages on the different characteristics of the supply chain strategy, including transportation, for a selected company.
Introduction
In this assessment, you will research a selected company and develop a case study analysis. All operational activities begin with an estimate of what customer demands will be. Production schedules, modes of transportation, warehouse space, and other supply chain activities are all dependent on the accuracy of the company's demand forecasting. The information management system must provide thorough, accurate, and timely information so that supply chain managers can prepare and execute short- and long-term plans. Satisfying the customer is the number one challenge for all demand forecasters.
Overview
In this assessment, you will research a selected company and develop a case study analysis on forecasting and planning a supply chain.
Instructions
Consider that you work for a company that develops and sells case studies and case study analyses. Your company's primary customers are colleges and universities wanting to use them within their courses, but your company also has customers using them for management training and development. Your manager asked you to conduct research and develop a case study analysis on the company's supply chain strategy, including transportation. She's specifically interested in you doing the analysis on one of the companies from this list:
Amazon.
Apple.
L. L. Bean.
Starbucks.
Walmart.
Research and write about the company that you have selected from the above list.
You and your manager discussed the high-level outline of your analysis and agreed you should address the following items:
Describe the company's business model and illustrate the business model through the use of a diagram or visual.
Compare and contrast the company's supply chain strategy with another organization's strategies and summarize key findings of areas the other organization excels in.
Use another company from the list to determine which supply chain areas the company excels at compared to your selected company.
Analyze the transportation strategy of the company using examples of the various transportation modes to support the effectiveness of moving products from factories to customers.
Analyze the global challenges that the company faces in its supply chain and discuss risks and associated strategies to minimize the risks.
Analyze the economic and political factors that can impact the company’s transportation network and relate to future improvements.
Analyze the role demand forecasting plays in the company's supply chain strategy and support the analysis with ways to manage challenges of forecasting in times of uncertainty.

An executive summary is a concise summary of a business report. It restates the purpose of the report, it highlights
the major points of the report, and it describes any results, conclusions, or recommendations from the report.
An executive summary should be aimed at an audience that is interested in and wants to learn more about the
purpose of the main business report.
An executive summary should…
• Be presented as a document that can stand on its own
• Be one to three pages, depending on the length of the report
Note: For academic purposes, a title page is attached to the executive
summary. In the professional world, however, this is not required.

Sample Executive Summary: Sunco
Through partnering with utility companies and other energy regulators, Sunco can make
renewable energy a dependable option for our customers. The opportunity, recommendation,
timeline, and cost are provided in this report.
Opportunity
In the absence of a national “smart” grid, which would increase “pricing transparency,
as well as enable a host of consumer-producer interactive transactions” (Contreras, 2012, p.
645), we here at Sunco, as producers of renewable energy, have run into the problem of getting
our services to the customers who demand them. Similarly, our consumers who generate
renewable energy on-site from solar panels and wind turbines have also run into the problem of
permits, regulations, and service charges that vary from state to state and utility to utility (Ryor,
2014). Currently, the main challenge is convincing local utilities of the economic viability of
renewable energy, and since the energy supplied is undifferentiated, the general customer base
is unaware that other options exist.
Solution
Since we, as a company, lack the necessary knowledge and authority to enable our
services to be accessed and expedited in a way that would make them economically feasible in
the existing system, we seek to engage in a partnership with utilities and regulators arou ...

OverviewPrepare an 8 page data analysis and quality improvement .docxkarlhennesey
Overview
Prepare an 8 page data analysis and quality improvement initiative proposal based on a health issue of professional interest to you. The audience for your analysis and proposal is the nursing staff and the interprofessional team who will implement the initiative.
"A basic principle of quality measurement is: If you can't measure it, you can't improve it" (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, 2013).
Health care providers are on an endless quest to improve both care quality and patient safety. This unwavering commitment requires hospitals and care givers to increase their attention and adherence to treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes. Health informatics, along with new and improved technologies and procedures, are at the core of virtually all quality improvement initiatives. The data gathered by providers, along with process improvement models and recognized quality benchmarks, are all part of a collaborative, continuing effort. As such, it is essential that professional nurses are able to correctly interpret, and effectively communicate information revealed on dashboards that display critical care metrics.
By successfully completing this assessment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the following course competencies and assessment criteria:
· Competency 2: Plan quality improvement initiatives in response to routine data surveillance.
· Outline a QI initiative proposal based on a selected health issue and supporting data analysis.
· Competency 3: Evaluate quality improvement initiatives using sensitive and sound outcome measures.
· Analyze data to identify a health care issue or area of concern.
· Competency 4: Integrate interprofessional perspectives to lead quality improvements in patient safety, cost effectiveness, and work-life quality.
· Integrate interprofessional perspectives to lead quality improvements in patient safety, cost effectiveness, and work-life quality.
· Competency 5: Apply effective communication strategies to promote quality improvement of interprofessional care.
· Apply effective communication strategies to promote quality improvement of interprofessional care.
· Communicate evaluation and analysis in a professional and effective manner, writing content clearly and logically with correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

ERM at Learner Centered Teaching & Strategic Risk Management:
Learner Centered Teaching (LCT) is based on learning research that summons more active, inductive instruction. It is extremely interesting to see students strongly arguing for the most important step in an ERM process even when there may not actually be a hierarchy, Increased student engagement strengthened team-based skills, personalized student guidance, focused classroom discussion, and faculty freedom are several benefits of the growing LCT adoption.
Managing Financial Risk assessment is a major point that TL approach gives an example of the trade-offs, costs, and benefits of hedging with futures contracts often starting with a simple natural hedge. Here, the student records the respective payoffs to long and short positions when prices change. Students memorize the transactions and expect to replicate the steps with different numbers, and maybe even a different futures contract for a challenging TL course.
ERM is a business management support process for several years and proponents of ERM have been advocating incorporating the ERM process into strategic and business planning to increase its utility. The specific purpose is to reduce the impact of adverse events and be ready to exploit emerging opportunities and adapting the ERM process within the existing strategic and business planning methodology. Organizations that view the ERM process as supporting business strategies should consider positioning it where the primary goals are both to grow the business and to protect value: corporate planning and the business units can be utilized to incorporate ERM into the strategic and annual business planning process with three internal scan elements -
· Surveying the C-Suite on risk managements
· Effectiveness of risk controls & security audit
· Creating ERM Risk register
The surveys will enable a comparison between the current state of risk management activities and the corresponding risk control efforts and ERM risk register is a tool for organizing the identified risks and their internal owners.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

6. Ví dụ:
• Our most recent project investigated why
critically ill patients at regional hospitals in
Taiwan transfer to larger medical centers
in order to more thoroughly understand
the anticipated medical services that their
families expect.
7. Ví dụ:
• Our recent project developed a novel
prediction model to identify the turnover
rate of customers in the medical sector.
More specifically, the proposed model
incorporates a novel set of management
strategies that emphasize customer
retention within the medical sector to
strengthen a hospital’s competitiveness.
8. 2. Describe the methodology
for the project.

9. Ví dụ:
• Location-related factors were identified through
an exhaustive literature review and consultation
with experts in the field. Exactly how these
individual factors are related to each other was
then identified through use of AHP. Next, a
questionnaire was submitted to hospital
procurement professionals to examine the
correct factors. Additionally, all factors involved
in selecting the target population and factories
and stores were analyzed using AHP, with the
optimal factories and stores chosen based on
those factors.
10. Ví dụ:
• Factors of patient transferal were identified
based on statistics from regional hospitals
in Taiwan. A questionnaire based on
customer relations management (CRM)
was then issued to families of critically ill
patients to determine anticipated medical
services. Based on those results, an APH
methodology was formed.
11. Ví dụ:
• A database containing pertinent hospital patient data
was utilized by applying a data mining method to identify
the factors associated with customer turnover rate. A
data mining approach that incorporates various data
analysis tools was also adopted to discover interesting
trends and relationships among various data sets.
Pertinent literature was then reviewed to confirm the
reliability of variables in the database. Next,
questionnaires were sent to hospital administrators
regarding the level of customer satisfaction. Additionally,
distinct consumer groups were identified using cluster
analysis to distinguish between all consumer groups.
Moreover, neural networks were used to enhance the
model accuracy, with those results subsequently
analyzed.
12. 3. State the main results of the project.
Nêu những kết quả chính của dự án.
13. Ví dụ:
Analysis results of this project can be used as a
model for selecting the most qualified
outsourcing company. Adopting the AHP-
based assessment criteria can enable hospitals
to generate revenues and save on equipment
investment, peripheral consumptive materials,
personnel costs and utilities. Decision making
based on the AHP criteria can provide a
valuable reference for public hospitals that
seek outsourcing partners.
14. Ví dụ:
According to our results, the proposed
CRM-based approach can identify how
the medical services anticipated by
families of critically ill patients differ from
actual ones provided by regional
hospitals, with the objective of ultimately
reducing this discrepancy and patient
transferal rate to larger medical centers.
15. Ví dụ:
According to our results, the proposed prediction model can be
adopted to design and implement precautionary measures towards
customer turnover rates in related fields. In addition to providing the
medical sector with more accurate guidelines on patient retention and
marketing planning, the proposed model can greatly facilitate hospitals
in providing high quality and flexible health care services that will
ultimately their public image with markedly improved relations with
patients. Additionally, besides identifying the major factors underlying
customer turnover rate, the proposed model can offer feasible
strategies to cope with this dilemma and achieve management goals.
Moreover, the proposed model can contribute to efforts to maintain
customers in the highly competitive medical market sector as well as
provide a valuable reference for healthcare managers in enhancing
customer relations.
16. 4. Describe the main contribution of the
project to a particular field or sector.
Mô tả sự đóng góp chính của dự án cho

17. Ví dụ:
In addition to enabling Department of Health
authorities to understand the full implications
of outsourcing, the AHP-based assessment
criteria can help public hospitals to
understand the nature of problems that arise
during outsourcing when constructing a
deluxe health examination center.
18. Ví dụ:
While providing regional hospital administrators
with an effective means of determining the
anticipated services of critically ill patients and
their families, the proposed approach can
highlight the importance of medical quality in
emergency care, eventually increasing hospital
revenues and establishing high quality
emergency medical centers among regional
hospitals in Taiwan.
19. Ví dụ:
Importantly, the customer retention strategy
can reduce the operational costs of
hospitals capital and increase the number of
overall patients. Increasing the number of
overall patients would not increase
subsidized revenues from the National
Health Insurance scheme, but also increase
their competitive edge in the intensely
competitive medical sector.

Our recent project developed a novel 4P-based marketing strategy for the local cosmetics
sector within Taiwan’s biotech industry by considering consumer needs under the principles of
product, price, promotion and place. This strategy can enable managers in the cosmetics
sector to more thoroughly understand consumer preferences not only by learning how to
identify and target potential customers efficiently, but also by establishing a retention strategy
to maintain loyal customers and attract new ones. A questionnaire was submitted to cosmetic
manufacturers on the most appropriate marketing method, followed by factor analysis of those
results associated with such an approach that adopts 4P principles. According to our results,
adopting this 4P-based marketing strategy can enable local cosmetic manufacturers to
increase their market share in related products and services. The proposed strategy can also
provide a more objective outcome for members when making related decisions than
conventional approaches can, thus accelerating the marketing process. In addition to
demonstrating the feasibility of using the 4P marketing strategy in order to increase consumer
satisfaction, Additionally, the proposed strategy can provide cosmetic manufacturers with
valuable information for using in a customer database so that future sales marketing strategies
can reach their target audience. In addition to encouraging product innovation, the 4P-based
marketing strategy can provide Taiwan’s biotech industry with clear guidelines on how to equip
management in the local cosmetics sector with appropriate and efficient marketing policies that
will ultimately decrease operating costs and enhance competitiveness. Moreover, the
proposed method can reveal how the biotechnology industry incorporates 4P concepts, thus
clarifying the behavioral patterns of cosmetics customers.

Based on an index of semiconductor equipment producers in Japan, our recent project analyzed exactly how
global market trends in the semiconductor industry influence the operating performance of Taiwan’s
semiconductor industry. Semiconductor equipment producers in Japan announce their B/B ratio on a monthly
basis. Publicly listed Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturers in information technology and electronics
industries from 2002 to 2004 were selected as the sample in this study. The operating performance of
Taiwan’s semiconductor industry was then analyzed using statistical software. Next, the operating
performance of the Taiwanese semiconductor industry was determined by factor analysis. Additionally, the
relationships between the B/B ratio and leading indicators of the composite index of Taiwan, the operational
performance of the Taiwanese semiconductor industry and the semiconductor sector in Philadelphia were
determined by regression analysis. Moreover, whether or not business cycle and operational performance
influence each other was explored. The proposed index enables the semiconductor equipment producers in
Japan to assess more accurately the global B/B ratio of semiconductor equipment producers in North America
based on the operational performance of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.Additionally, the proposed index
can determine whether semiconductor equipment producers in Japan can exceed 20% of the global B/B ratio
of semiconductor equipment producers in North America. Moreover, in addition to enabling entrepreneurs to
understand more thoroughly the global ranking of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, the proposed index can
provide a valuable reference not only for stock market investors, but also for enterprise managers who are
devising appropriate strategies for various economic cycles. A significantly positive relation between the sales
growth rate and the net profit after tax growth rate indicates a significantly positive relationship between
management performance and fluctuations of the business cycle in the semiconductor industry.

Our most recent collaboration developed a customer ranking model for analyzing the dynamic
purchasing behavior of customers and identifying potentialgenerators of bank revenues. The
behavioral results can be used to devise diverse promotional strategies or to customize
products or services to meet consumer needs, achieving market differentiation and effective
management of customer relations. Based on numerous available customer data, a data
mining method, CRISP-DM, was employed, combining conventional means of data exploration
with two mathematical calculations (decision tree and category nerve) to determine how
various purchasing activities are related and how many factors can be used to rank the value
of a customer’s relationship. Factors associated with customer relations and the customer life-
cycle were then combined to construct an enhanced management model. According to our
results, the proposed customer ranking model can be adopted to manage effectively customer
relations, significantly reducing promotional costs and allowing sales staff to concentrate on
identifying potential customers. By incorporating CRIPS-DM, the proposed model can
efficiently analyze current customer data, enabling marketing staff to understand customers
more closely; identify potential niche markets, and optimize the relationship between the
customer and the institution. The proposed model can be used to verify and adjust factors of
the ranking module to ensure that a company continues to provide quality services. While the
customer’s value in the customer relationship management system can be determined, this
model can significantly enhance the ability to attract new customers. Furthermore, it can be
used in other business sectors to enhance the ability to identify, acquire and retain the loyalty
and profitability of customers.

Our recent project developed a novel index based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to
measure the value of the intellectual capital of on-line gaming companies. Content analysis was
performed to devise questionnaires on the components of intellectual capital. The questionnaires
were sent to the managers of on-line gaming companies and banks to find out which factors should
be considered in measuring the intangible capital of their companies. Next, AHP was used to
understand which factors are deemed most important by the managers of on-line gaming companies
and banks in determining the intellectual capital of on-line gaming companies. Using AHP, the weight
(relative importance) of each intellectual capital variable was evaluated, based on the perceptions of
managers of on-line gaming companies and banks. The results were considered based on the criteria
applied by banks to measure the intellectual capital of a business. Moreover, exactly how banks and
on-line game companies differ when measuring intellectual capital was determined using Principal
Component Analysis. Based on the results, the proposed index provides on-line gaming companies
with criteria to determine their intellectual capital, providing a valuable reference for banks when
determining whether to grant commercial loans. The ability to measure the actual value of an on-line
gaming company will significantly reduce the likelihood of defaulted loans. Additionally, on-line
gaming companies will have clear guidelines regarding how banks measure intellectual capital,
enhancing their competitiveness. Moreover, the proposed index of intellectual capital in this growth
sector can enhance the conventionally used indexes and increase their accuracy. The results of this
study provide a valuable reference for banking institutions that need to understand how on-line
gaming companies measure their intangible capital.

Our research group recently developed a novel evaluation method to
identify target credit card customers. The method incorporates
characteristics associated with the lifestyles of such customers and the
factors that contribute to their incurring of debts. Pertinent literature
was reviewed to identify the characteristics of credit card customers
and the effect of their lifestyles on their purchasing behavior.
Questionnaires were sent to customers to determine their personality
and lifestyle, and their relationships to their purchasing behavior.
Based on the results, cluster analysis was used to classify credit card
customers into different categories. The proposed evaluation method
provides a valuable reference for banking institutions that are
attempting to identify desirable credit card customers, eventually
leading not only to the development of a marketing strategy to attract
such target customers, but also to the lowering of operating costs and
credit risk.

Our most recent project developed a credit risk assessment model by
analyzing a mass of data or by detecting
concealed purchasing models, to reduce the defaulted loan burden of
small financial institutions. A database of customer data was
constructed, to which highly effective data mining approaches were
applied to identify the attributes of each customer account, including
overdraft records, outstanding loans and income level. Credit ranking
criteria based on a decision tree were then established for all
customers in the bank database. In addition to greatly facilitating the
decision of a banking officer on whether to grant a loan, the credit risk
assessment model also reduces operating costs by enhancing process
flow. Moreover, the proposed model paves the way for other potential
data mining applications in financial institutions, such as more
thoroughly satisfying customers through more effective marketing
strategies based on acquired data. The proposed model is highly
promising for other industrial applications.

Our group recently developed an investment risk model that analyzes the features of credit
cooperatives in Taiwan. A questionnaire was designed for loan officers at credit cooperatives
to accumulate relevant loan information and background information about credit cooperatives.
Features of credit cooperatives were then analyzed using factor analysis. Next, factors that
influence whether or not financial officers approve loans were analyzed using SPSS statistical
software. Additionally, potential defaulted loans are identified using MDS. Moreover, factors
that distinguish credit cooperatives from banks were analyzed using cluster
analysis. According to our results, the proposed investment risk model can enable loan
officers in banks and credit cooperatives to identify potentially defaulting loans, since the
method is derived by directly focusing on market developments that previous financial
research neglected. Additionally, whereas previous studies have not addressed the financial
problems of credit cooperatives, the proposed model can more thoroughly elucidate the
features and the role of credit cooperatives by identifying factors that enhance their
performance. In addition to compensating for limitations of previous financial research and the
Experience Rule, the proposed model provides a valuable means of understanding current
developments in financial markets, and helps credit cooperatives to make good loan decisions
to maintain their market competitiveness. Moreover, the proposed method provides a valuable
reference for the Taiwanese Government to initiate timely financial reforms that will enhance
the role of cooperatives in the financial market.
