The document describes an experimental study on adsorption refrigeration systems for automobiles. Various adsorbent-refrigerant pairs were tested including silica gel-water, silica gel-methanol, zeolite-methanol, zeolite-water, activated carbon-ammonia, and activated carbon-methanol. Experiments were conducted to analyze the adsorption capacity of each pair at different temperatures. It was found that silica gel-water had the highest coefficient of performance and was the best pair among those tested.
