This document provides an overview of the 2nd grade curriculum at Craddock's for the 2011-2012 school year. It outlines the components of the language arts block which includes shared reading, guided reading, independent reading and reading aloud. It also describes the spelling, writing and math curriculums. Social studies, science and health are covered once a week on a rotating basis focusing on topics like weather, plants/animals, health and nutrition. Reminders are provided about homework expectations and classroom policies.
