Cost over-runs and time over-runs are prevalent in most of the projects carried out in developing nations such as India. There may be multiple reasons for these overruns. In order to
reduce them, there should be efficient use of the construction softwares available in the market. This paper emphasises the use of these softwares to reduce these issues by the use of a scientific technique called earned value analysis. Earned Value Analysis is an industry standard method of measuring a
project’s progress at any given point of time, forecasting its completion date and final cost, analysing variances in the schedule and budget as the project proceeds.

These law are applicable to D.C. Circuits as there is no promise they can always be applied to A.C. circuitry. Why? Unlike D.C. circuits that could have resistors that occur voltage drops across them, or even capacitors that would have a finite time to charge before reaching a steady state or equilibrium state, A.C. circuitry has inductors that rely on the alternating current to produce magnetic energy. Since all this is time dependent it would be very difficult to write equations as we do that clearly have no time dependence to them. Calculus would be required to produce what we call ordinary differential equations which describe rates of change of functions and variables that may depend on more than one or the other of them in a system. In that case we call them partial differential equations. See the attached file. Thanks.

ROBUST OPTIMIZATION FOR RCPSP UNDER UNCERTAINTYijseajournal
The aim of the present article is to optimize the robustness objective for the Resource-Constrained Project
scheduling Problem (RCPSP) dealing with activity duration uncertainty. The studied robustness consists in
minimizing the worst-case performance, referred to as the min-max robustness objective, among a set of
initial scenarios. We propose an enhanced GRASP approach as a solution to the given scenario-based
robust model. This approach is based on different priority rules in the construction phase and a forwardbackward
heuristic in the improvement phase. We investigate two different benchmark data sets, the
Patterson set and the PSPLIB J30 set. Experiments show that the proposed enhanced GRASP outperforms
the basic procedure, and a based-evolutionary algorithm, in robustness optimization.

Investment portfolio optimization with garch modelsEvans Tee
Since the introduction of the Markowitz mean-variance optimization model, several extensions have been made to improve optimality. This study examines the application of two models - the ARMA-GARCH model and the ARMA- DCC GARCH model - for the Mean-VaR optimization of funds managed by HFC Investment Limited. Weekly prices of the above mentioned funds from 2009 to 2012 were examined. The funds analyzed were the Equity Trust Fund, the Future Plan Fund and the Unit Trust Fund. The returns of the funds are modelled with the Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) whiles volatility was modelled with the univariate Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasti city (GARCH) as well as the multivariate Dynamic Conditional Correlation GARCH (DCC GARCH). This was based on the assumption of non-constant mean and volatility of fund returns. In this study the risk of a portfolio is measured using the value-at-risk. A single constrained Mean-VaR optimization problem was obtained based on the assumption that investors’ preference is solely based on risk and return. The optimization process was performed using the Lagrange Multiplier approach and the solution was obtained by the Kuhn-Tucker theorems. Conclusions which were drawn based on the results pointed to the fact that a more efficient portfolio is obtained when the value-at-risk (VaR) is modelled with a multivariate GARCH.
This white paper covers a new approach to tracking project performance which identifies variance gaps between the baseline plan and actual performance for the project as a whole as well as specific deliverables, contractors, locations, or any other group of activities.

Effect of Portfolio Diversification on Commercial Banks Financial Performance...inventionjournals
The study examined the effect of portfolio diversification on Commercial Banks financial performance. Mixed method of research design was used and data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedules. Target population was 43 licensed Commercial Banks in Kenya from which one hundred and thirty three (133) managers were randomly selected to form sample size. Validity of the research instruments was ensured through content, face and construct validity testing. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics which included correlation analysis and bivariate regression analysis. The study established a positive statistically significant relationship between portfolio diversification and financial performance. The portfolio diversification explained 68% of the changes in the financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya and that most banks diversify their investments which has enabled them to increase profits and performance in the past years. The study recommended that financial institutions should invest in a combination of assets which are negatively correlated because this maximizes revenue (returns) and minimizes losses (risks). Further study should be undertaken to establish the best combination of assets that can yield an efficient portfolio.

US Economic Outlook - Being Decided - M Capital Group August 2021.pdfpchutichetpong
The U.S. economy is continuing its impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and not slowing down despite re-occurring bumps. The U.S. savings rate reached its highest ever recorded level at 34% in April 2020 and Americans seem ready to spend. The sectors that had been hurt the most by the pandemic specifically reduced consumer spending, like retail, leisure, hospitality, and travel, are now experiencing massive growth in revenue and job openings.
Could this growth lead to a “Roaring Twenties”? As quickly as the U.S. economy contracted, experiencing a 9.1% drop in economic output relative to the business cycle in Q2 2020, the largest in recorded history, it has rebounded beyond expectations. This surprising growth seems to be fueled by the U.S. government’s aggressive fiscal and monetary policies, and an increase in consumer spending as mobility restrictions are lifted. Unemployment rates between June 2020 and June 2021 decreased by 5.2%, while the demand for labor is increasing, coupled with increasing wages to incentivize Americans to rejoin the labor force. Schools and businesses are expected to fully reopen soon. In parallel, vaccination rates across the country and the world continue to rise, with full vaccination rates of 50% and 14.8% respectively.
However, it is not completely smooth sailing from here. According to M Capital Group, the main risks that threaten the continued growth of the U.S. economy are inflation, unsettled trade relations, and another wave of Covid-19 mutations that could shut down the world again. Have we learned from the past year of COVID-19 and adapted our economy accordingly?
“In order for the U.S. economy to continue growing, whether there is another wave or not, the U.S. needs to focus on diversifying supply chains, supporting business investment, and maintaining consumer spending,” says Grace Feeley, a research analyst at M Capital Group.
While the economic indicators are positive, the risks are coming closer to manifesting and threatening such growth. The new variants spreading throughout the world, Delta, Lambda, and Gamma, are vaccine-resistant and muddy the predictions made about the economy and health of the country. These variants bring back the feeling of uncertainty that has wreaked havoc not only on the stock market but the mindset of people around the world. MCG provides unique insight on how to mitigate these risks to possibly ensure a bright economic future.

Where can I sell my pi coins at a high rate.
Pi is not launched yet on any exchange. But one can easily sell his or her pi coins to investors who want to hold pi till mainnet launch.
This means crypto whales want to hold pi. And you can get a good rate for selling pi to them. I will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi vendor below.
A vendor is someone who buys from a miner and resell it to a holder or crypto whale.
Here is the telegram contact of my vendor:

What price will pi network be listed on exchangesDOT TECH
The rate at which pi will be listed is practically unknown. But due to speculations surrounding it the predicted rate is tends to be from 30$ — 50$.
So if you are interested in selling your pi network coins at a high rate tho. Or you can't wait till the mainnet launch in 2026. You can easily trade your pi coins with a merchant.
A merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell them to Investors looking forward to hold massive quantities till mainnet launch.

how can I sell pi coins after successfully completing KYCDOT TECH
Pi coins is not launched yet in any exchange 💱 this means it's not swappable, the current pi displaying on coin market cap is the iou version of pi. And you can learn all about that on my previous post.
RIGHT NOW THE ONLY WAY you can sell pi coins is through verified pi merchants. A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges and crypto whales. Looking forward to hold massive quantities of pi coins before the mainnet launch.
This is because pi network is not doing any pre-sale or ico offerings, the only way to get my coins is from buying from miners. So a merchant facilitates the transactions between the miners and these exchanges holding pi.
I and my friends has sold more than 6000 pi coins successfully with this method. I will be happy to share the contact of my personal pi merchant. The one i trade with, if you have your own merchant you can trade with them. For those who are new.

If you are interested in selling your pi coins, i have a verified pi merchant, who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges looking forward to hold till mainnet launch.
Because the core team has announced that pi network will not be doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges like huobi, bitmart and hotbit can get pi is by buying from miners.
Now a merchant stands in between these exchanges and the miners. As a link to make transactions smooth. Because right now in the enclosed mainnet you can't sell pi coins your self. You need the help of a merchant,

Price adjustment as a reaction to positive information on an efficient/not efficient market Source: (Jamróz, 2011, p. 27)

Our hypothesis is that the momentum strategy leads to an accelerated price increase
perhaps via positive feedback.
15. UNIST Financial Engineering Lab. 14
However, the acceleration is not sustainable, hence the reversal. Indeed, we show evidence
that accelerated price increase is a strong contributor to poor future performance.
19. UNIST Financial Engineering Lab. 18
Figures 2 and 3 clearly suggest that the 1-month reversal and the 2–12 month momentum are two ends of
the spectrum. The general trend in both figures indicates that positive acceleration leads to reversals or
negative acceleration leads to rebound. In other words, unsustainable acceleration leading to reversal can
reconcile the 1-month reversal and 2–12 month momentum. The key is that it implies that acceleration is not
sustainable.

We need to determine how to measure the
acceleration of returns. One way to do it is to
put different weights on the last 12-month
returns, with positive weights on more recent
returns and negative weights on more remote
returns. In this way, the most recent strong
returns will contribute more to the acceleration
measure, and thus it highlights the acceleration
of returns.
