4. When Did This
Start Happening?

has been going on for hundreds of
years
● The London Stink, which occured in
the summer of 1858, is one of the
earliest and prominent occurrences

past, and we still have problems
today we need to fix.

7. Who Can we Ask to Help our Cause?
Ocean Bottle:
● Create reusable water bottles made from upcycled ocean bound
plastic
● Take old water bottles that people don’t need and recycle them
into ocean bottles
● Each ocean bottle funds the collection of 1000 plastic bottles that
will one day end up in our oceans
● Each bottle offsets over 18 kg of CO2 from plastic collection
8.
9. What Can You Do to
Help Our Oceans?
● Partner with organizations
● Encourage people to go plastic free
● Share important information on
water pollution
● Recycle all plastic waste
● Eat sustainable food
● Plant trees
● Use pesticides, herbicides and
fertilizers responsibly and less
● Start using more reusable products
● Use less plastic projects
● Use environmentally safe products
● Conserve water
● Keep vehicles well maintained
● Proper sewage treatment and
management
● Dispose trash properly
10. Our Action Plan We are going to help collect used
plastic to donate to ocean bottles as
new materials that they can use to
produce their water bottles created
from ocean materials. We will ask
people in our community to donate any
used water bottles that are not needed
in their households, and give them to
ocean bottles.
