This document outlines a strategic plan called the ASHA PROJECT (HOPE PROJECT) to address challenges faced by communities affected by natural disasters in Barguna District, Bangladesh. 13. Long Term Goals
 At least 8% of families’ housing needs in Barguna should be met with
a cyclone resistant home
 At least 40000 latrines have to be provided
 At least 1330 tube wells spread over the Barguna district have to be
constructed
