can be seen as rebirth because you are purifying yourself from sin. Edna makes references to how
she wasted her time in the water just splashing around, similar to a baby. Babies are born pure,
free from evil, and naked. At the end of the book, Edna is naked and chooses to drown herself.
This is a good example of purification because it is almost as if she were trying to free herself
from sin by ending her life, rather than living in a place where she knows she will continue to sin.

Georgia, which hinders our chances of receiving fresh fruits and vegetables. In order to receive the
proper and nutritious foods, many of us that live in the metro Atlanta area literally has to travel at
least 10 miles outside the city to even get to them, let alone buy them. Cities surrounding Atlanta
have to travel to Atlanta to go to a decent grocery store. However, sometimes Atlanta cannot meet
their needs.
On the bright side, there are many programs in Atlanta responsible for decreasing food deserts in
the metropolitan area. The mobile market is the only one that I am aware of. The mobile market is a
market that brings fresh fruits and vegetables to communities, promotes good health, and provide
information and resources to food deserts.
Although food deserts have both major and deadly impacts on people s lives, the solutions to
