Literature Review (Review of Related Literature - Research Methodology)Dilip Barad
Literature Review or Review of Related Literature is one of the most vital stages in any research. This presentation attempts to throw some light on the process and important aspects of literature review.
The literature review is an opportunity to demonstrate not just the breadth of your reading, but also your critical reponse to the current literature on a topic. This workshop is designed for students writing a standalone literature review, or undertaking a literature review as part of their dissertation. The session is also suitable for students who are not required to include a literature review chapter, but who will be engaging with existing research throughout their dissertations.

How to write a good Dissertation/ Thesis
Thesis refers to a written work on a particular domain resulting from original research. You should introduce your subject area and explain research topic by referring latest published materials instead of old published materials. The objective is to present a simple, clear and complete account of the results of your research.
• Brainstorm or generate ideas for your topic.
• Conduct a thorough literature search before designing your methodology and collecting your data.
Relate your findings to your original statement of the problem and your literature review.

Scopus : the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literatureSumit Kumar Gupta
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world's research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities, Scopus features smart tools to track, analyse and visualise research.
As research becomes increasingly global, interdisciplinary and collaborative, you can make sure that critical research from around the world is not missed when you choose Scopus.
Some important Referencing Style used in researchmainly four type referencing styles are explained in this presentation. Chicago, MLA, APA,and AIP. In-text citation and refrencing style both are explained here with the help of format and by giving examples.
How to write (and publish) a literature reviewMarcel Bogers
How to write (and publish) your literature review? This presentations distinguishes between three types and purposes of "review": (1) a literature review, as part of an empirical study; (2) a stand-alone review article; and (3) a conceptual or theoretical (non-empirical) article. For each of theses types, it gives an overview of considerations for getting done and published (or rejected).
power point presentation covering all aspects of publishing research papers viz: why to publish a research paper , necessary steps before writing a research paper, parts of a research paper, process of publishing a research paper, identifying a target journal , preparing the manuscript etc.

Presentazione di Hetor, con una introduzione agli Open Data, gli scopi e il funzionamento di Hetor, ed il suo uso per la Rete dei Licei Artistici della Campania
Solid is a decentralized platform for social Web applications that allow users' data to be managed managed independently of the
applications that create and consume this data.
In this seminar we present the objectives, the architectural design, some examples and final considerations on Solid

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

LATEX
• LaTeX was originally written in the early 1980s by Leslie Lamport at
SRI International
• LaTeX is a document preparation system: it uses plain text as opposed
to the WYSIWYG (”what you see is what you get”)
• Markup tagging conventions to define the general structure of a
document
• Distributions such as TeX Live or MikTeX are used to produce an
output file (such as PDF or DVI) suitable for printing or digital
distribution.
• LaTeX is widely used in academia for the communication and
publication of scientific documents in many fields
• LaTeX can be used as a standalone document preparation system, or
as an intermediate format: sometimes is part of a pipeline for
translating from other formats (XML-based formats) to PDF

BIBTEX
• Reference management software for formatting lists of references.
• Used together with the LaTeX document preparation system.
• Facilitate the citation of sources in a consistent manner, by separating
bibliographic information from the presentation of this information,
• similarly to the separation of content and presentation/style supported
by LaTeX

FILES INVOLVED
• BibTeX chooses from the .bib file(s) only those entries specified by the
.aux file (that is, those given by LaTeX’s cite or nocite
commands),
• It then creates as output a .bbl file containing these entries together
with the formatting commands specified by the .bst file.
• LaTeX will use the .bbl file (possibly edited) to produce the reference
list.

JABREF
• JabRef is a reference management software that uses BibTeX and
BibLaTeX as its native formats and is therefore typically used for
LaTeX.
• The original version of JabRef was released on November 29, 2003.
• It provides an interface for editing BibTeX files, for importing data
from online scientific databases, and for managing and searching
BibTeX files.
• Released under the terms of MIT license since version 3.6 (and was
under the GPL license before).
• Cross-platform

• Some glitches, but constantly improving
• Zotero www.zotero.org is an alternative: besides local version, it is
also web-based
• Zotero allows
• organization in collections
