Kieran Beal outlines initial plans for a video game concept project. They are enthusiastic about games and look forward to creating an original concept. A mind map and mood board were created, with the mood board featuring dark color schemes and post-apocalyptic imagery from games like Fallout and Metro. A schedule was drafted with weeks dedicated to design, production, evaluation, and using sources like those games as well as SimCity and Tom Clancy titles for audience research and references.
2. Initial Reaction
-I like the idea of creating the concept of a videogame from scratch then animating it,
this is because I personally am very enthusiastic about games and I have a somewhat
expansive knowledge on the latest releases and old titles alike, as well as some insight
into the gaming industry including the different genres of gaming so I am looking
forward to this part of the course.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Many of the images used in my mood board have dark colour
schemes and almost all of them are from games showing a post-
apocalyptic world, a few of them from the same game even as
I'm primarily using that game as my source of inspiration, man of
them surround the theme of warfare and the weapons used in
them.

3 Production The first week will consist of the initial
design of the game background, design
assets and possibly character models if
there is time.
4 Production The next part of production will be
editing together all of the assets of the
game including character models, HUD
etc, creating custom sound effects and
tracks then editing them into the video.
5 Evaluation This will involve concluding my final
project, comparing it to existing
products , saying what accurate about
the game (particularly to it's genre) and
what could've been better.
