This study investigates the pharmacodynamic interaction between the Ayurvedic anti-diabetic agent madhumehari and glimepiride in diabetic Wistar albino rats. Results indicated that the combination of glimepiride with madhumehari significantly reduced serum glucose levels compared to the individual agents, suggesting an additive effect in their anti-diabetic activity. The findings support the safe co-administration of madhumehari with glimepiride for managing type II diabetes mellitus.
