SSP Fellow feedback Experience. keen to learn as much as I can, but this makes me hyper aware of all the things that I don't know - and there are some things that only come with experience anyway Connections/Networking, being part of something, feeling more included in the industry – I've met so many people through the program. Broadened my perspective immeasurably already (something I've wanted for a while). Opportunities, meeting people, and having this jumping off point of being one of the fellows, has given me lots more opportunities to get involved with things Safety-security not worried about asking a dumb question

- #2 the process of being one of the judges for the SSP Fellowship Grants awards this year, reviewing some 85+ excellent early career and student entries Experiences of working with my SSP Fellow and Mentee Mohammad, also on the panel I'll dig into some of my motivations for wanting to be a mentor, the why Explain some of the unexpected benefits to me, and also ways I have worked together with my mentee, connecting Mohammad to organizations like ORCID, joining their Journals Advisory Board, what are the expectations, good to try set them at the beginning How I help mentor and support other people internally, some best practices/ideas The types of questions I'm asked, areas of support I feel I can give (my skill set) I can briefly mention what we do at my company too, albeit I will probably cover more of that in the afternoon session. Also touch on experience and work with another SSP fellow preparing a session for ALPSP and the process we had there I'll prepare a few slides to send to you, let me know if anything else jumps out to you, or also what the others may say. I do also have to say that looking at the whole make up of the 12 SSP Fellows, SSP has a unique group of early career members, who certainly have a lot to offer, not only SSP but also the the industry.
