3. Objectives ForToday:
•Today’s essential questions:
1.)What types of hazards make up severe
weather processes?
2.)How can we forecast their occurrences and
reduce their negative impacts?
5. THINGSTO KNOW…
The substitute teacher has FULLAUTHORITY. If your
name goes on their list, you are signing up for Lunch
Detention with Mr.Wampler (for starters)
(Mr.Wampler takes his shoes off during lunch, and he has
stanky feet. You don’t want to be here during lunch.)
If that makes this period less fun…bummer. At least it is
Friday!
6. THINGSTO KNOW…
This gradecam quiz has some special instructions since
Mr.Wampler will be unable to run the gradecam
program.
READYOUR QUIZ.The instructions are on there. If you
don’t read them, you will probably end up with a zero.
7. THINGSTO KNOW…
Your reading and reflection is due today. You will work on
this after your quiz.
You must present this reflection to the teacher as a ticket
to get your ipad. Mr.Wampler has left instructions to Mr.
Maynard to send you back to your seat to work on your
response if it looks like you didn’t write a detailed three
paragraphs.
8. THINGSTO KNOW…
YOUALREADY KNOWTHIS - - But in case people feel like pretending they don’t
know…
If you are not on Soundcloud, Quizlet, Educanon, Khan Academy or Blendspace,
Mr. Maynard needs NOWARNING to ask you to place your ipad back on the rack.
This isn’t play-time.
Starting at 5 minutes before class ends, ipads need to go back and be signed in.
Mr. Maynard might have his own dismissal policy, but I have relayed that I
traditionally release quietest tables first. If you are standing around, your group
will be waiting on your to be released.
