world. For the APS 325 field trip, we attended Cirque du Soleil s latest production Volta. Volta has the
theme of freedom as a movement and self acceptance. It is inspired in part by the adventurous spirit
that fuels the culture of action sports. The story revolves around the central character called Waz who
is a popular game show host and has lost touch with his inner self in pursuit of fame. But over time, he
is filled with doubt and is reminded of his childhood memories of encounters with a group of people
