I have talked before about coming from a simple life. That could be a slight understatement as I
have never previously attended a ballet, and when the question, Surely, you ve all heard of

was not until I heard the musical number of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy that the gears of my

with carefree delight, I was transported back to the cold, laminated floor of my farmhouse

expanse of space, I remember holding my china ballerina/music box so gently. The object itself

Steven J. Stern s text, Peru s Indian Peoples and the Challenge of Spanish Conquest, highlights
from beginning to end Spain s conquest of the Andean people while articulating the
transformation of the relationship between these two peoples. He illustrates how Spain s efforts
toward colonialism of the Andes, transformed the natives from a self sufficient group of people
into an oppressed caste system known as Indians. Additionally, he introduces the idea that the
Spanish needed to break the indigenous and gain their favor in order successfully establish
dominance over them and their land. While arguing this, he offers several facts, which contradict
the black legend associated with the Spanish and their means of conquest. In chapter two of
Stern s text, he discusses the initial phases of the Spanish conquest of the Andean people.
According to the text, in 1532, 168 conquistadores defeated and captured Atahualpa, the Emperor
of the Incas (Stern p 27). It is possible that the Spanish were able to do this because of their

Conclusion
As an employee of the NRCS, I see the benefits of the program first hand. I work with the
program and its participants on a daily basis. I hear the positive feedback from the participants. In
my year of work experience I have had the opportunity to work with these participants from
beginning to end. The comparison of a pre EQIPed operation to a post EQIPed operation is
tremendous. I personally believe the benefits of EQIP outweigh the costs of the program.

An interactive system is a piece of software or a device which requires human input. It consists of a
user interface which the user interacts with to access the underlying functions, described formally in
code. This allows the user to easily manipulate the system in order to complete some task. An
important subset of interactive systems is safety critical interactive systems (a system in which
errors can lead to injury or even death to the user). Unfortunately, the testing of these systems is
currently inadequate, resulting in serious harm or even fatalities (see [1] [2]).
A test is dened in the Oxford Dictionary as: A procedure intended to establish the quality,
performance, or reliability of something, especially before it is taken into widespread use ; [3]. The
purpose of interactive system testing is not only to ensure that the system does what it is expected
to, but also to identify problems within the current version of the system. The resolution of these
problems will help to establish the quality, performance and/or reliability [3] of the system and help
to avoid future incidents.
In this research we propose using interaction sequences as an abstraction of the system under test to

matter is Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. It seems to be before they have discovered the

Immediately, my eyes are drawn to Adam and Eve, for they are the largest figures in the painting.
All of the characters are stylized to the tune of what the artist wants, for his figures, including the
animals, are shown as very muscular, not very naturalistic. This is similar to Michelangelo s

Adam and Eve still have their innocence, for they are surrounded by a heavenly grace. White is
also seen in the painting, both as a part of the angel s wings and the clouds in the sky. White often
symbolizes purity and innocence, yet another symbol that shows Adam and Eve have not yet been
