Trail rides are a lot of fun and it is even more so when where you go is beautiful. However, when
people do not know what they are doing horses can be dangerous. Over the summer I had gone to visit
Claireville Ranch in Brampton, Ontario. The ranch is located close to the city and is a place people go
to get away. They offer riding lessons, pony rides, and trail rides. You may also go for hikes and walk
your dog. The main area and parking is set a little way off the main road, which makes it quiet. It is a
breathtaking area and is great for hikes. However, the horses were kept in a small and dirty paddock
behind the barn. They may just be kept there for the day, but it was still not enough space for the
amount of horses kept there. There was also an abundance which is understandable at a barn and in the
forest, but was still bothersome. The place was extremely crowded with many people riding and
waiting at once. We also had to wait for an extremely long time. To get a spot you had to show up a
half hour beforehand and then about another half hour for the people to get back, dismount, and then
you have to mount. Even with all this the people in charge seemed to keep a somewhat organized
schedule. The service was not the best, but was not completely unbearable. You were able to call to
ask questions, which would be useful if they picked up the phone. Most of the time the phone went to
the answering machine that was little help, repeating what it had said before. You

Enterprise, these large corporations need a hierarchy of field managers that will effectively lead all

One common trend throughout these unfortunate events is the way that the media perceives African
Americans since the beginning of slavery until the present day and age, and how society as the
audience connect and react with the portrayal of controversial events.
There are many information outlets today that help set the perception of Blacks in society. Social
media websites such as YouTube and World Star Hip Hop often hosts videos that show blacks as
animals. Viral videos, such as Sharkeisha , DcyoungFly s videos, POP Hold It Down , and more, only
portray Blacks as ignorant and violent. About four years ago it only took 220,000 views to make a
video viral, but today a viral video will have at least 1.5 million views (Fiorentino). This is significant
in that for every viral video showing Blacks in an unfavorable light, there are at least 1.5 million
people reaffirming negative stereotypes and perceptions of Blacks today. There aren t many viral

The title of the poem is Nothing Gold Can Stay. It conveys multiple meanings. Such as Spring, or
children growing up, or the world is going to end.
There is no repeating words in the poem, however Robert Frost does use an AA BB AA BB pattern for
his rhymes.
In the poem, a few months pass. It talks about the birth of spring and the ending of it. But if you look
at it from the children growing up perspective, then around 18 years pass. However if you look at
Nothing Gold Can Stay as a poem about the end of the world, than 9,500 years passes. He says So
Eden sank to grief in the Bible the Garden of Eden was created in the beginning, and man was kicked
out, so Eden sank to grief. Now, the world is ending and 9,500 years have passed, assuming he
believes in a young Earth.
There are no human characters in the poem, there are only leaves, flowers, and the Earth. Eden and

In his book Sanford Meisner On Acting, Meisner teaches students in his class the techniques needed in
acting. The book is written in a way that is enjoyable to the reader because it is written in third person,
where an observer writes about what occurred in the class among Meisner and his students. In the
book, Meisner teaches the students about the importance of being genuine; they should stop
pretending and they should stop being polite. They should rather just do what feels genuine to them. I
liked that the book was written based on observed experiences and not just laying down the acting
techniques for readers to follow. By reading about the experiences, I felt as though I was in the class
with Meisner and this enabled me to understand the techniques better.
The first things that caught my eye from the book are the principles Meisner gives his students. On the
topic The Pinch and The Touch , he says, Don t do anything unless something makes you do it...what
you do doesn t depend on you: it depends on the other fellow (Meisner 34). He goes further to
illustrate the two principles by pinching John, one of his students, who reacts by shouting Mr.
Meisner! The principles caught my eye because I have heard my acting professor constantly tell us the

King Kong 1933 King Kong is the perfect example of the early development of motion picture music
in the twentieth century. The music was not only essential to the film, but musical scores also made
the film better for the audience. Clever composers created a true musical drama; Max Steiner was
known for his musical ability including films like Gone with the Wind. Steiner spent a lot of amount
on the music of film King Kong 1933. The music meant everything to that picture, and the picture
meant everything to RKO, because it saved the studio from bankruptcy.... The impact of King Kong
on the movie going public was astonishing. It emerged into a country frightened, impoverished, in the
grip of the Great Depression. The main instrument used in the film music was orchestra which was
perfectly aligned with the theme of characters in the film at various points. Steiner developed the
music in the symphonic fashion which allowed the film to hit a high score musically and became a
symphonic fashion. The usage of the cycle of operas was brilliant with a soothing tune to the ears. The

many sections and guises, but always identifying King Kong himself. The film has a fifty foot giant
that depicted a lot of terror to the audience which was facilitated by music; the main title continues

development of the relationship with the gorilla was the core of music and the film. The jungle dance
was a faster tune with continuous rhythm, while after the jungle dance, music became much softer,
