Prior to asking my mother, some of my friends asked if I truly wanted to know the answer to this

All was quiet within in the Forest of Forever Winter, the snow descended from the dark moon lit sky.
Snow builds in the branches of the many dark skeletal trees. Treading through the snow filled path
was a shrouded figure wearing black and blue garments beneath a slightly tattered navy blue cloak
with black inner lining, billowing in the breeze. The lower half of his face was obscured by a black
mask and his eyes hidden beneath the hood. Strapped across his back is a Daitō with a lock attached to
the sheath and the latch hooked to the guard.
The figure treaded through the snow filled path until the sound of a snapping twig and faint growls
coming from behind stopped him in his tracks. Taking the moment to listen noises he came to the
obvious conclusion. There was no mistaking those sounds...Beowolves, he thought to himself. As the

The photographer Platon Antoniou has many great works to his name, but some more interesting work
is how he captures raw emotion in face portraits of world leaders. Platon made the statement that the
world leaders are presented with a shroud of branding and propaganda (Platon: Photography). The
point of the portraits was to get up close with these leaders and show their personal and emotional side
through photographs (Platon: Photography). The two portraits that do this the best and show a contrast
of emotion are Muammar Gaddafi and George W. Bush. In Muammar Gaddafi s picture, Gaddafi
gives off an intimidating and menacing feeling. His eyes look almost lifeless and are staring down the

and the Confederacy. Two important individuals from this era were President Abraham Lincoln and
