Product evaluation focuses on evaluating the outcome or result of a process rather than the process itself. It assesses products at three levels - beginner, skilled, and expert - based on the presence of minimum required parts and functions as well as additional enhancing features. Objective-based evaluation measures pre-determined learning objectives, which are interrelated with instructional objectives and learning experiences. The evaluation is designed based on the relevant objectives to properly assess students in the specified content areas using different question formats.
