2. + The social group that represents my product
is more aimed at girls and aged between
early teens/ late teens. It would also attract a
lot of people because my magazine focuses
on different sub genres. It could also attract a
males as for the colour scheme which is
mostly grey, dark blue and white which is very
un-biased colours since both genders asked
for different types of genres, on the other
hand the content consist most of female
artists which could attract more of the same
gender. Males could be attracted to the
magazine since the main image could be
sexually objectify and expose the model to
the ‘male gaze’ I used my model to create a
serious look to attract the males as it gives
the model a sense of confidence.

3. + The way I represented my social group is through
the language and images of the magazine. I used
colloquial language to represent the age of my
target audience as most people aged about early
teens / young adults as in everyday life they
speak this type. Therefore I thought it would be
better to connect it to make the readers feel
comfortable. The clothes I used for the photo-
shoot was represented as loud and different with
the jacket and strong dark lipstick. This could link
with my social group as they are seen to be loud.
The images are also quite dark this could
highlight my audience have a lot of secrets and
insecurity that are hidden and the magazine is a
way to escape, like my double page spread for
example. My content page shows that my
audience likes to hide from the world with the
image of the headphones to show they are
independent.

My magazine shows the young age by the different
genre atmosphere by the top charts since most
people are fascinated with the latest music, which I
included into my magazine to attract the audience.
Overall the magazine will attract my social group as
for Dyer's Star Theory as soon as they see a
popular artists they would be attract straight away
since they would want to know exactly what they
have to say. By using famous names it will make my
social group attract since they are interested into the
popular things in which popular artists will be
included.
