1- Warm up:
- Welcome students
- Explain the objective and dynamics of the workshop
- Model a very simple way to introduce myself so that they can repeat it as well
- Say that people have different reasons to learn English, and we will explore theirs

- Students will be given a ppt. presentation, it’s just one page, this could be printed or
passed around in their computers (considering the cero paper policy, it would be better)
- They will explore it briefly, look for the word they don’t know, and just try to understand
the different reasons why they NEED or LIKE English.
- Each person will choose more than I reason, and then share it in English to the group (the
teacher will model it)

-Students will play the game, they will write down phrases, expressions, vocabulary and anything
interesting they would like to share with the rest. The teacher will go around, helping them with
the games’ dynamics, and giving them suggestions about what they could present to their
classmates.
-All the other students need to write down what the different groups or students are sharing.
-The teacher can make follow up questions regarding what everyone presented to check if they
remember or if they took notes.
3- (optional, if there is enough time) Printable activities
a. Adjectives World Spiral
b. Kitchen crossword
They will gather in groups and complete this printable activities. These could be printed or just
they could see the file in their computers, and fill the answers in their notebooks. The idea is to
expose them to new vocabulary in a different way, by playing.
