1. CAMERA
Digital Camera was very useful for my music
magazine with digital cameras, I simply click the
picture and transfer it to your computer using the
camera's data cable. If I wanted to print it I could get
it printed instantly by printing it with a colour
printed. It's as simple as that whereas in the 1990s
you would waste your time and energy in developing
the roll of film in a dark room or take it to the photo
store in a CD and get it printed instantly. Digital
Cameras have a massive photo storage it can easily
store up to 10,000 photos depending on the size of
the memory card, Operating speeds, In case of
earlier cameras, one always had to wind the film after
clicking a photograph. This led to a certain amount
of time delay and inconvenience. For my music
magazine I was using Nikon D3100 which had active
d-lighting, automatic chromatic aberration
correction and sensor cleaning and airflow control
system. While taken pictures for my music magazine
there was not such activities required it was I didn’t
have to worry about the subject being out of focus or
your hand shaking it was easy and simple to take
pictures. In addition digital cameras have screens
where you can look at the pictures that you’ve taken
and also it allowed you to view the image as soon as

2. ADOBE
INDESIGNWhen creating my music magazine when
trying to layout my front cover, content page
and featured article it was difficult for me to
do on Microsoft Publisher. Using Adobe
InDesign to produce my magazine, however
because I was a first time user it looked a little
intimidating initially but, once you’ve found
your way around, InDesign offers significant
advantages and is surprisingly easy to use.
Handling images was much easier, greater
control over typography for example InDesign
makes it easy to standardise text; specify by
character and/or paragraph, Combine fine
detail changes whilst retaining ‘the big
picture’ for example Adobe InDesign enables
you to make fine detail changes to adjust
leading, Print-quality colours and simple
colour management. Whereas using Microsoft
Publishers half of the techniques I used for
Adobe InDesign wasn’t there.

3. ADOBE
PHOTOSHOPAdobe Photoshop After taken few pictures for my
front cover, featured article, content page with a
digital camera I wanted to edit them because there
were few stains on the backgrounds in every pictures
i took this is why I took Adobe Photoshop. Adobe
Photoshop easily import the pictures I look on the
digital camera into the software. Once imported,
everything is neatly organised on the screen which
made it easier for me to handle numerous pictures.
On Adobe Photoshop the edits regularly done on
photos by clicking the bottom on the photo e.g. it
automatically whiten teeth, reduces red eye with the
simple click at the bottom. It wasn’t difficult to do or
complicated, Editing my pictures were quick and
easy. In addition, One thing I liked about Adobe
Photoshop is that there is no professional training
needed to complete complex tasks for example
adjusting the tone, taken out stains, cropping etc. It's
easy to work with and it improves the quality of a
photograph.

4. MICROSOFT PUBLISHER
Microsoft Publisher was very useful when saving my
pictures I photo shopped on Adobe Photoshop as
JPEG so that I can upload it on my blog. Microsoft
Publisher was simple to use pictures were easily
imported and saved this shows how technology
shows people the efficient way to do thing without
Adobe Publisher I wouldn’t be able to upload the
pictures I edited on my blog. WordPress I used
WordPress for my blog which at first I didn't
understand the ways in which to access it because it
was my first time but later on it was easy to operate
because changes can be made on the website by
yourself without having to use HTML coding. On
WordPress techniques like adding pages, images,
blog post, videos was unchallenging. After creating
a login on WordPress website they supply training
on how to use the website which made it less time
consuming. WordPress offers variety of themes
which I selected on to use for my blog whereas if
