2. Style sheet
I have chosen this font for my product because I
think it looks nice in black and against the white
background which would be like my front cover.
Which will be black font and then be on a white
background so that I can make sure it will stand out.
I do like the look of this font and the way that certain
things have this sharp line that goes down as I think
it gives it a bit more character to the font.
I like the look of this font because I like the fact that
is kind of like a paint brush in some places. Which I
think makes it look artistic which I think will go great
with what I'm planning to do for my product. I also
think that this font is quiet bold which makes it
easier for people to read especially of off a a white
background.
These are a few colours that I have chosen that will be included in a
way in my product. Most of these colours are based of the fact of what
photographs I will take. As seen as the season at the minute is spring a
lot of my photographs will include things like blues, browns and greens
as I would say these are the colours that people will associate a lot
with nature. Then I’ve also included some other colours for example
the pink seen as it is spring and there's a lot of blossom around that I
will want to take a photograph of for my product. Then I've included
black and white seen as I think I will just use black for my font and
then each page of my product will be white.
Here's a couple of colours that I have shown because
they will be in my product in a way seen as my
product wont really have a colours scheme either.

3. Style sheet
I have chosen this picture to talk about
because its something I will like to do for
my own product. As I think a picture like
this really stand out in my product
especially with the colours involved. As
you have the colours of the highland cattle
which is really nice. As I think it’s a very
rich colours and stands out quiet a lot
compared to the background which in my
I think looks quiet dull especially like the
sky I think it looks very dull in colour as
the blue is very light and nearly blends in
with the clouds you can only see the
I think I like this font the most because of how it just flows. I think it
would look really professional with me just having this font with a
photograph. But I will have to make sure that the photograph I choose
stands out too. I don’t think that this font though is as bold as the
others but I do like the style it has more of a flow with the writing.
Next for my style sheet I will
be talking about some
photographs that fit the
nature spring theme. So that
I can show some
photographs that I would
like to do so that I can show
what kind of photographs I
will have in my product. I
will only talk about and
annotate 3 because I think
anymore then that will be
just too much.
I like this photograph because it showcases of a lot of detail. For example you can see
part of the swans beak still in the water then the ripples around it which I think really
draws in your audience to see it because its not something that you would really see
with your own eyes because it would be too fast. So its something that would really
draw in your audience but also the fact that someone would have the talent to take that
kind of photograph in my opinion. I also think that the colours in this photograph are
nice and bright especially the water I think it contrasts really well with the colour of the
swan as the sawn is quiet light in colour and not that bright where as the water is very
bright and rich in colour so I think they contrast well and make each stand out in there
own way.
clouds if you concentrate and actually look at the photograph. I then
also think that the grass is also dull in colour but you can still see it
more then the sky. But I like that you can see the individual pieces of
grass. Then with the highland cow you can see the detail very clearly
which I like because for example you can see the dark points on the
highland cattle's horns. With this photograph I think the main focus
of course is the high land cow, but I think the fact that it is the
brightest colour on the photo adds to that. This is the sort of
photograph I would like to do for my product because I think it’s a
photograph that would appeal to my audience
I like the colours in the
colours in this
photograph their very
bright and you can tell
with this photograph
what the main focus is and that’s the
blue bells which I like because I think
the colour they are is very soothing it’s
a nice calming colour and its not too
bright that it would hurt your eyes then
you have the grass in the background
which is blurred out a little so that you
know the main focus is the blue bells.

4. Layout 1
This is a layout for what my cover could look like. The page of course will be white so that the rest of
the things on the page will stand out more and will seem brighter then if it was another colour because
I think if it was a different colour it would drown out the colours in the photograph that I decide to use.
#2209 For the cover I've tried to show what it might look
like by getting a photograph of the internet
because my idea is that whatever photograph I put
in the middle I will have banners at the top and
bottom that will be the same colour as the most
used colour in my photograph. As this way the
banners will tie in with the cover they wont be just
two random rectangles on the page that no one
knows why I put them there. The reason I put the
banners there is so that at the same time it does
look a little bit like a magazine rather then a book.
This way I also can put a issue number up in the
corner on the banner so that it stands out but also
so that there's something there rather then them
just be plain.
Next I used one of the fonts that I liked from my style
sheet. This one I think looks really nice as it does stand
out with it being on a white page and this being black
the only problem is that I don’t want it to take the
attention away from my photograph as yes the title is
important so that people know what its called I just
think that the photograph should be the main focus so
then before people even look in the book they know
what they can expect.
I think this would appeal to my audience because it will be easy
to read so that people will know what the book is called easily.
But also it’s a very easy layout there's nothing that will confuse
them. But also I think simple is better because then straight
away people will know what to expect inside as well. I think
though I may add a little bit more on the bottom where that
banner is just to give the cover something a bit more make sure
its not too plain.

5. Layout 2
This is what I would like one of my pages to look like for my magazine slash book. This is only a mock up of
what it could look like. I'm not too sure that this is what it will for example I might change the title font.
To show what I might do for my pages for my
production I have used certain colours so that
you know what everything is on my layout.
But I've first showed that I would like my
page to be white as this way it will make my
photographs stand out more then if it was
another colour because I think if it was
another colour it would make my
photographs seem dull when there not. Next
I've chosen a font that I might use it depends
I’m stuck between two I like the most. But
I’ve shown that I would like the font in the
left hand corner as I think that way it is easier
for people to read when they open up the
pages. Next with purple blocks I've shown
where my photographs could go but for each
page I will change it up so that its not always
the same. But I've shown two as when doing
my questionnaire people said they would like
two photographs per page. Which then when doing my interviews people said they would like to see both the edited and
the original so this is my way of showing it. Then with the pink blocks I've showed were I wold have my writing. There is
more photographs compared to writing because I think people would like to see more photographs too writing when it
comes to a photography product. But for the people that would want to see writing I will make sure that there is enough
for them to read about.
I think this would appeal to my audience because I really have thought about what they would like too see and how they
would probably like to see the layout of my pages.

Most of the props that I need will be camera related and computer. As I will need my camera to
take all the photographs that I will need for my product. I named just two locations that I will
take my photographs as they will be the mains places but the other places I wont be really able
to name as I take photographs any where to be honest as long as I think it would make and
amazing picture. Then next I added some props to do with computers as I will a need computer
to actually be able to make my product and to edit my photographs that I will have taken. Which
to make my product and to edit my photographs I will do all of that on Photoshop. Then finally I
will need my memory stick so that I can save all my work and make sure that I don’t lose any ad
have to do it all again.

7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
The weather could be too bad for me to go out and take
photographs. For example if there was a lot of rain and wind
on the day that I planned to take photographs.
The solution to this problem is that I could make sure that
I'm always checking say weather apps or the news. So that I
can plan out which days would best for me to go out and
take photographs.
An issue I could have is that my camera could brake and
then I would b very limited to how I can take my
photographs.
The solution to this problem is that I'm always careful with
my camera when going out to take photographs and that I'm
always checking that there is nothing wrong with my camera.
But also checking my camera before going out to take
photographs so that I know for sure its fine.
While I'm out taking photographs on my camera my camera
could run out of battery.
I will have to make sure that before I go out to take
photographs that my camera is fully charged so that I know
there is no chance that while I'm out it will run out of charge.
While doing my work my computer that I'm working on
could crash resulting in me losing al the work that I have
done without saving.
To make sure that I don’t end up losing any of my work I will
have to make sure that I save my work a couple of times
while in the middle of doing my work.
I could end up losing my memory stick which would result in
me losing all the work I have done.
To make sure that I don’t end up losing the work I will have
to make sure that I keep my memory stick in the same place
so I don’t lose it. Put if I do I could make sure that I always
back my work up so that if I do lose my memory stick I still
have my work.
Photoshop could stop working for a day resulting in me not
being able to do my production.
If this does happen I can always make sure that I don’t lose a
day of work by either doing some power point work or
planning on what I will do in Photoshop once its working
again. As then when it is working I will know exactly what I
can do and it wont be too much of a hassle that I lost a day
of production.

8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided?
While I'm out taking photographs I could trip on my
surroundings or while in class I could trip on some
computer wires.
To avoid this issue I will need to make sure that while I'm
taking photographs I will have to make sure I'm careful and
to look where I'm walking so that I don’t trip over anything.
Then while in class I will have to make sure that there is no
wires around for me to trip over but to make sure I check
my surroundings beforehand.
There's a safety risk of me taking photographs of animals
as you never know how they can react to you being near
them. You never know what they could do.
To avoid this issue I will have to make sure that I'm careful
when around the animals and that I keep my distance so
that I don’t provoke them or anything. Seen as it is spring
as well and most animals will be giving birth.
There's a safety risk that I have planned to take my
photographs near a lake. There is a chance that I could fall
in the lake which would be a safety risk.
To avoid this issue I will have to make sure that I'm careful
when I'm near the lake and that I don’t stand too close so
that I don’t fall in but also if I am near the lake to make sure
I watch were I put my feet.
Since I will be sitting down at a computer for the majority
of my work. The safety risk is that I could injure my back
from constantly being sat down.
To avoid this problem I could take a break from my work
every now and again so that I can have a bit of a walk
around so that I can stretch my back out a bit.
There is a health risk with the fact that I will be look at a
computer screen for a long time which could hear my eyes
due to brightness.
To avoid this issue I could take a break now and again so
that I can give me eyes a rest from looking at the computer
screen. But also if the computer is starting to hurt my eyes
due to brightness I could turn it down so its no longer as
bright as it was before.
There could be a safety issue with the fact that when I'm
typing the font is black which after a while can sometimes
hurt my eyes after a long period of time.
To avoid this issue I could turn down the brightness of the
computer so that doesn't add to the fact of it hurting my
eyes but also to change the colour to a colour that I know
wont hurt my eyes as much as if it was black font.

9. Day Plan of Action Resources Required
Day 1 First I will go out and take photographs that I will like to use for my production.
I will also put the photographs I have taken that day on to my laptop and then
my memory stick.
To do this I will need my camera to take my
photographs then my laptop to put the
photographs on to then put them on my memory
stick.
Day 2 Next out of all the photographs I took I will choose which ones I like the best
as I wont want to put them all on my production as that would take too long. I
will also start editing them photographs on Photoshop.
To do this I will need my memory stick that will
have all my photographs on it. Then a computer
that has Photoshop to start editing my
photographs.
Day 3 I will carry on editing my photographs and then start my production reflection
power point so that I can start talking about the editing that I have done with
my photographs.
To do this I will need my memory stick that has all
my work on it. Then a computer that has
Photoshop so that I can do the editing.
Day 4 I will start making the actual magazine slash book for my nature photography. To do this I will need my memory stick that will
have my work on it and a computer with
Photoshop so that I can do my production work.
Day 5 I will finish off my magazine slash book for my nature photography and do the
rest of my reflection power point.
I will need my memory stick with my work on it
and then a computer with Photoshop on it so that
Day 6 I will finish off my production reflection power point and make sure that I have
explained everything to the best of my ability.
I will need my memory stick that has my work on
it then a computer that has power point so that I
can finish my reflection power point.
Day 7 I will check that my production is as good as it can get. Check that it is how I
want it and there is no more I can do to it. Then I will start my evaluation
power point.

Day 8 I will check my production again so that I know for sure it is exactly how I
would want it to be. Then I will finish off my evaluation power point.
