1. Ryan and Olivia – In Store Radio Show
From the music we played which was mostly indie rock. I think it suited the audience very well
mostly because the shop we chose was Urban Outfitters so we chose the songs which people would
listen to who shopped in the store. And we took into consideration of what songs were popular so
the audience would know the music and keep listening.
The technical quality of our show had its ups and downs, mostly ups I hope. When listening through
this I thought that when fading the music out it was abit quick and sometimes slow, also an
improvement would be too while fading out the track starting talking so it isn’t just the sound of
mine and Olivia’s voice. These the same problems from the other radio show we did and personally
think we improved.
Now onto the chat section of the show which was in-between the music none really on top of the
music. The chat section for me was the hardest bit to grasp because of the worry of dead air but I
think me and Olivia achieved that goal even though there was a few hiccups and no script to read off
I think it went quite well for our preparation and second show. To improve for the next show I
definitely agree with my comment about the fading of in-between music etc and how it should be
smoother. Also maybe prepare a script so we have stuff to talk about or example we could do a
news section, celebrity gossip general things that you hear on general radio shows like capital for
example. General facts could be used and then we could branch off from their hopefully giving off a
good conversation.
