R&b internet radio review
1. R&B Radio Show Review (Internet)
The Target Audience for this show is mainly aimed at people who like to listen to R&B music.
It’s not age restricted because there is now swearing and all the songs are clean cut. I think
it would mostly be teens or early staged adults who would most likely listen to this radio
because it’s hip and chilled and I couldn’t imagine people at an older age listening to this
type of music.
There were a few mistakes to the technical side of the show made e.g. Sarah’s jingle had
some kind of fault to it so we couldn’t use it so that meant every jingle had to be my jingle.
My jingle wasn’t good because when I introduce our names on the jingle besides saying
“Lewis and Sarah” I said “Me and Sarah” which didn’t sound right and the listeners wouldn’t
have known who was talking. Other than that the jingles were evenly spread out and the
there were a variety of different artists.
We didn’t talk much on the show but we did emphasis and acted like we were really into
R&B music. We talked about the foals and Snoop Dog being headliners at Leeds festival we
found this interesting to talk about because there to different genres of music and
completely different artists in general. And by mentioning Leeds festival it would benefit our
show and the festival itself which is a good thing.
Overall I found the show very entertaining and enjoyable to listen to, also I like the way we
brang up random topics to talk about on the spot and used the speech of the conversation
equally. The intro message sounded drab and murmured and had a few mistakes like I
stuttered a little when I couldn’t read there artists names. The outro message was polite
and simple and ended the show well.
Out of all the shows I think that this show wasn’t the best but not the worst. It could have
been improved if we were more energetic and planned what we were going to say so I
didn’t make any mistakes when talking. And again I didn’t stutter when reading the artists
names. But overall I enjoyed listening to it and I think it would sound great live on the
internet.
