2. Outside
• Whilst outside the shots would be taken either early morning or early
evening. This is because it is dark but not pitch black. This would add
dramatic effect to the audience and make them feel that something is
not right.
3. Inside
• When the girl first gets inside the lighting would be bright but not
overpowering. This shows the contrast from the dangers outside compared to
the comfort and safety inside.
• The second scene inside when the girl is watching TV the lighting would be
dimmed and relaxing, this would show that she is relaxed and feels comfortable.
• The third scene inside when the girl walks towards the door the lighting would
be bright, a contrast to the previous scene which shows the audience that
something bad is going to happen as the lighting is more dramatic.
• The final scene in the bathroom the lighting would be similar to the previous
scene with bright overpowering lights, again adding dramatic effect to the
audience.
