2. THRILLER – A GHOST STORY
Boomby Tilly
The genre of this story is
a thriller which has been
expressed by the
chandelier which is dustry
and filled with cobwebs,
the thick orange curtain
drapes and a long oak
table that separates the
characters.
In this first scene, the
characters ‘Boomby’-
male and ‘Tilly’-female
are having a meal in a
grand, old house.
This is a wide shot that
enhances the
background of where the
characters are, which
sets the scenery and also
makes the audience feel
involved in the short
story.

all the lights turn off
which creates a scary,
dark feel to the story.
This creates suspense
and fear towards the
audience and
characters.
This is another wide
shot which just makes
the audience focus on
the shortage of
lightening .
4. THRILLER – A GHOST STORY
The next scene shows
the character ‘Boomby’
which his head
decapitated on to the
table.
This is also another wide
short because it allows
the audience to just focus
on one side of the image
and to then evaluate the
rest of the image to see
how this event happened.
This creates suspense
and worry.
5. THRILLER – A GHOST STORY

shows it’s
appearance in by
flying above
character ‘Tilly’ and
underneath the
chandelier, still with
the light off.

with both ‘boomby’
and ‘Tilly’ are
decapitated, with the
