Final evaluation question for my media product

1. HOW DID YOU USE MEDIA
TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION
AND RESEARCH, PLANNING AND
EVALUATION STAGES?

2. For the different stages of making the products I have used
several different media technologies. For my initial planning
stages I created a quick plan based on the rough drawing on
paper in Publisher. This greatly helped with further planning
and when I eventually created the products. I also used
Surveymonkey to get an idea of how the products will
develop and an audience’s attitude to local newspapers.

3. When presenting the planning of my products I used Prezi,
Slideshare and Emaze. These made my work appear much
more visually interesting and interactive. For the newspaper I
felt that Fireworks would suit me best as I have already used it
multiple times previously. The billboard poster was also
completed using Fireworks.

4. I felt that Wix would be the best to use for the website as it
allows the user to easily upload and edit content. I also
needed to edit the photos I had taken. For several of the
photos I needed to remove the background. I did this using
Photoshop. I also felt that editing brightness and saturation
levels would help make my photos look much more
professional. I could have done this using Photoshop but
found it to be quite limited. I eventually used Picasa to edit
the photos brightness and saturation which worked well.
