1. This MAP assignment would help to support the development goals of the 2013 IDP. The MAP
involves travelling to Sulawesi, to work with cocoa growers outside of Makassar. There are several
elements to the program, all of which contribute to the project meeting development goals. We will
gain knowledge by visiting the Cocoa Sustainability Site and from there we will move into the field.
It is here where the best work will be done. We will visit both with NGOs in the area and with local
farmers. Some of the objectives of this visit are going to understand the dynamics of the cocoa
