My Hero Essay
Have you ever had a hero? Well I do, and my amazing hero is my mom. The first day i opened my
eye i knew that she was going to be my hero for the rest of my life. My mom is my one and only
true hero because she plays two parts in my life, my mom and dad. The reason why she also plays
the dad role is because my dad passed away when i was two years old so she stepped up and began
playing the dad role to all six of us kids. I never really knew my dad because he passed away when i
was two. My took care of three of her kids by herself, but my other three brothers moved with my
aunt. My mom is a huge role model to my life and I'm glad she is a role model to my life because
she is the one who teaches me life lessons and prepares me for life. My mom tells me everyday
"Think positives and not the negative." My mom is always there for when I need her and she
helps me threw a lot of things. When i was first starting middle school I started to get bullied and I
didn't tell no one not even my mom. One day my mom came to the school for a school meeting
with my mentor and it was because I did something bad to myself. The next day I went to school and
a boy said to me "He was going to kill me and my family." I was so scared I didn't say anything till
another another boy stood up for me and then he told the principle so I told my mom about it and
she said if anything ever like this happens to you again don't be afraid to tell me anything. So from
the point on i told my mom everything.

Modern Hero Essay
In this world, there are many heroes living amongst us. They all look like regular, everyday people,
but they are so much more than that. Even though they look normal, the things that they do for other
people are extraordinary. The proper definition for a hero is, "a person who is admired or idealized
for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities." But, a hero is someone who goes out
of their way to help someone in need. For example, someone who gives food to the poor, helping
kids with their homework, donating some of your salary to a charity, being a great role model, or
just being nice to people constantly out of the kindness of their heart....show more content...
For example, Lionel Messi donated money to the country Syria to help out those in need while
they were involved in their civil war. According to Jack Austin from the article Independent,
"Messi's foundation helped to build 20 classrooms for schools in Syria, with the invaluable work
helping over 1,600 children caught up in the horrific civil war back into education. Over 60% of
children in the Syrian schools where the fund has helped build new classrooms have been
displaced since the conflict began in 2011." This is important because Lionel Messi helped over
1,600 thousand children get education even though, due to the war they were unable to get
education because most of the schools were destroyed. Also, before the war they had few schools
to begin with because Syria is not the richest, so this allowed many kids to get an education and it
helped the country out a lot. This just shows how good of a person he is and how he has
impacted so many lives with his generosity and kind heart, and this is just one example of one
good thing he has done so far. Another example of Lionel Messi donating money people that are in
need is when he donated half a million to the charitable foundation, UNICEF. UNICEF is a
organization that helps poor kids and orphans in developing countries. According to the article The
Telegraph, Lionel Messi donated half a million dollars to the charity UNICEF in order for the kids

Essay on My Hero
My Hero
What is a hero? In my view a hero is someone that you admire. You may admirer them for their
achievements, outlooks in life or maybe just because they are famous. In this case I admire my hero
for his courage and his determination all through his personal life and his career.
This story begins in Bellshill near Glasgow 24th September 1962 where a Glaswegian boy was
born. His parents Alexander and May called their miracle Alistair Murdoch McCoist. If only his
parents had known the difference this baby boy would make to Scottish football in years to come.
At the age of 16 Ally left His High School Hunter high to take up a career in football after his
chemistry teacher Archie Robertson noticed him and took him to...show more content...
These came around in the semi–final of the 91/92 Scottish Cup once again against Celtic. The Gers
were down to 10 men and playing the worst football in the clubs history. Shortly after half–time Ally
coolly scores the winning goal. After this wonderful period, Rangers begin to struggle. As a result a
new manager was brought in to the club and the fight to victory begins. Rangers then win 10
leagues in a row with the help of Mc Coist's goal scoring phenomenon. Every time
Ally was off the bench (which was almost every game) he scored at least one goal. New manager
Greame Souness then formed "The Mo
Partnership" with Ally and Maurice Johnson a fellow midfielder. The two of them were amazing
together and were practically un–defietable.
Greame Souness and Ally then had a disagreement and the striker was constantly on the bench, not
understanding why! This was when an unwanted nickname of Ally's appeared he was known as
"The Judge" this was also partly because Mark Hately had joined the team and was some
competition for the Mr Mc Coist's spot on the champion side.
Unfortunately Ally's career at Rangers was beginning to come to a stand still. To show how much
he was loved at Rangers 42,000 people packed into the newly refurbished Ibrox stadium for his
testimonial in
August 93. After his testimonial news was heard that surprisingly his

My Hero: My Mother Essay
The one person that I could never live without, the reason I am standing till this day, is my
mother. My mother is who I thank and admire most of all. Without her dedication and hard work,
I would be in the squatters of the Philippines, stuck in a place where it is a very difficult place to
make a good enough living or even make enough money to keep the bread on the table for your
family. Her main goal and dream was to pass the NCLEX exam, it would permit her to go to
America. That would allow her to make a better living and life for herself and to get a job, in order
to send back money needed for her family.
My mom was the eldest of nine siblings. It was extremely difficult for them to have enough money
to buy food,...show more content...
She knew that a good education would be the only way to become successful in the future. My
mom made a promise to herself, to have full dedication in her school work in order to move to
America, to earn money for her family. She wanted to get control of her life and make sure to have
a great education.
She enjoyed learning and studying in high school. She would lock herself in her room, and sat in a
desk that was in the corner of the room. She would study nonstop, even eating dinner as she read
her books. She was so proud of herself when she did great on all her tests and finals. Her friends
would invite her to go out and eat at the mall, but she would remember the promise she made to
herself, to put all schoolwork before everything, because it was more important. Once she graduated
high school with the highest average of her class, she worked even harder in her college classes. She
enrolled to get a Metical Technology degree because she knew the employers were always needed
in the medical field.
My mom studied day and night to pass her board exam. The board exam was what you needed to
pass in order to graduate college. She passed that exam swiftly and worked toward her next exam,
that allowed her to travel to America and would guide her to the successful future she truly
deserved. That exam was called, "The State Board Exam". It was an extremely hard exam that many
Filipinos took in order to move to America. Many even took

My Hero Is My Family
My hero in a family of many
I believe that heroes exist in everyone's life. Heroes are people who are willing to risk their life
without considering or even acknowledging there is a reward, whether it be a physical or mental
one. Heroes are lifesavers who are in the right place at the right time to help a person who is in need.
I know heroes are in my life because I've been saved time and time again by my hero. My hero is

That's one reason my mom is my hero. Another story I can think of when my mom was a hero for
me was back in 10th grade when I got one of my worst injury years possible. The first one I had to
go through was super early in the year. It was during my first junior varsity game of the season,
and we were facing the spuds, or as everyone calls them the mashed potatoes. We were five
minutes into the game and I hurt my ankle. When I went to the trainer, after being helped off the
field, the trainer told me he thought I had broken my ankle, during this my mom was right there
helping comfort me. We went to the doctor after the game had finished and after a long couple
hours they had told me it was only a bad ankle sprain. After doing rehab for what seems like forever
I had finally got cleared to return to playing after 4–5 weeks. Once the football season was over and
wrestling I had started lifting to try to get back to pre–injury form and get better. During one of our
max out days I had one–hundred and eighty–five pounds I had attempted to do it , when I did my
elbow landed on my knee and I thought I broke my wrist. During this it was my mom that was there
to bring me to the doctor and help me get through another big injury.
In my eyes heroes do exist they can be anyone that does something for the benefits for others. My

support, and my mom is just one
