Task 1 Genre and E4s target audience research
As a group, watch compare and contrast a selection of reality television and talent shows to identify
common styles and themes within the genre. Individually put your research into a powerpoint
Decide as a group which type of show you would like to produce
Create a mind map of different ideas for a show
All work needs to be added to your blog with the title Task 1 Ideas & discussions
Task 2 Planning the show
In groups create an original idea for a reality TV program or talent show. Consider the following;
Name & possible logo
Aim of the show. Who are the main characters and what is their main activity? If it is a competition or kind
of talent show how will people win and who decides?
Who it will appeal to and you research to support this?
What possible publicity would you need? Eg a logo or poster.
Make sure you check your work for spelling and grammatically errors
All work needs to be added to your blog with the title Task 2 Planning the show
