Working in group pitch your idea to a panel explaining your idea and presenting supporting material:
Include the following information.
 Name & aim of the show.
 The key points of the issue your documentary will feature
 Also consider the style, theme, tone and technology of your pitch, as your pitch should reflect the
ethos of your show
A recording of your pitch need to be added your blog with the title Task 4 the Pitch
Along with a recording of your pitch and accompanying material)
You also must consider how you will present the show in the form of a pitch – e.g. power point and
presentation

P2, M2, D3 present a media production report which conveys relevant information
P4, M4, D4 deploy and manage appropriate technology to pitch a media production proposal
P5, M5, D5 employ appropriate forms of address in a media production pitch to communicate ideas

You have a shown a consistently high level of communication skills when discussing ideas with the rest of
your group. You speak clearly and with clarity and use technical language and respond confidently to
questions when asked. The ideas you have shared are relevant and well explained and you respond well to
other group members by listening, asking appropriate questions and moving the discussion using the ideas
and information shared by the rest of your group.
You have clearly completed a large amount of in depth research which included consideration of the target
audience and an appropriate presenter. Your supporting power points were well planned and and
effective. You have presented a well thought out informative and balanced conclusion.

Areas for improvement
Consider using more visuals and bolder text in your presentation to make certain points you are making and
facts you are presenting stand out, it will also make it more interesting to your audience Also create notes
to help you during your presentation, this will help your confidence and help you to stay on track.
