Function OF Simple past Tense
1. Declare activity / activities that have
occurred in the past.
2. To declare a period of activity that has occurred in the
past.
3. Declare habits that happened and had stopped in the past.
4. Declare a general truth that has ever happened in the past that
no longer exist.

• REGULAR verb
• IRREGULAR verb

Example : Musawir Played Football Yesterday
S + V (ed/d) + Complement
S + did not + V + Complement
Action Verb + S + V + Complement
Example : Musawir did not Play Football yesterday
Example : Did He (musawir) Play Football yesterday ?

5. IregularVerb
S + V2 + Complement
S + Did not + V1 + Complement
Action verb + s + V1 + Complement
Example : Musawir Swam in the WaterPark this morning
Example : Musawir did not Swim in the WaterPark this morning
Example : did he Swim in the WaterPark this morning ?
