New supervisory board member and new group head of structured and trade finance
appointed.
Beijing, March 18, 2016 /PressReleaseCircle/ -- PoonXiaomeng joins the supervisory
board of CHCEX. Poon Xiaomeng has been appointed to the supervisory board of
CHCEX and will become a non-executive director. His department specialises in funds
investing in commodities and commodity equities.

organization as we continue to grow,” said Geng T. Liangding, CEO of China
Commodity Exchange.
Mr. Poon Xiaomeng has extensive experience of government at a senior level, together
with knowledge of the financial services sector and a detailed understanding of
commodities trading from his long association with the industry. Poon Xiaomeng also
brings his capabilities of acting at board level of a number of significant commercial
enterprises.
New Group Head of Structured and Trade Finance appointed.
Geng Ye Kong to join China Commodity Exchange as its group head of structured and
trade finance. For almost 15 years, Geng has focused on commodity finance activities in
wholesale banking.
Previously Geng held positions with an investment bank, initially as head of energy Asia
before moving to Hong Kong to lead the trade & commodity finance activities while also
assuming global responsibility for energy within the trade & commodity finance division.
During his time at the bank, Geng had also been responsible for acquisition finance,
private equity and client solutions. Prior to joining the bank, Geng worked as first
managing chemicals and energy in Singapore before moving onto more senior positions
in Beijing.
He is a graduate of the University of Singapore with a master’s degree in economics.

2. Geng joins CHCEX at the beginning of the next month, replacing Chau Yinhui who has
been appointed CEO at a partner of CHCEX.
