The cinematographer of the movie, Oliver Wood,does aremarkable job at
catching every scene at the precise angle. A few films he has worked for are
some of the Bourne movies, Step Brothers, Freaky Friday and Anchorman 2.
Within the first scene of the movie, you are pulled into the action of a car
chase in downtown New York City. You get a view from on top of the cars,
within, in the sky, and out on the sidewalks. The variety of focus in each
scene keeps your eyes interested in what's happening on the screen. They

Sound in the opening scene is very important, this is because it has to show
the audience what kind of film it is opening out to be, so as it’s an action film
the sound effectsof the cars can show that a car chase is taking place which
shows that further along in the movie there will be lots of action and thriller
coming up later on.
Costume is another important aspect of the film. White shirt and black tie
shows they are dressedsmartly which portrays wealth but can also make him
look professional. The colour shows the good side in him contrasting with a
tiny bit of black (tie) which suggests there can be a dark side also. The cow
boy hat and sun glasses can make the guy look professional but keeping it
casual at the same time which can also add to the conical aspect of the film.
Compared to the bad characters in the film, they wear a big black coat to
make them look big and powerful which can suggest they might be
dangerous. Along with black boots and trousers because it shows they are
dark, evil and carry mystery keeping with the black theme.
Lighting is very low key. The film is opened in a dark place to connote danger
and mystery which is very important for an action film to have. Lighting when
filming outside is mostly natural. This is to keep the comedyaspect up within
the movie, to show that there is also a good side to the film alongside a dark
side.
