Current Capacity to produce
• Only 2.5 million skilled trainees trained per year, by ITI’s and Polytechnics
India's Deficit or Shortage in Skilled Manpower
• Shortage of approximately 470 million adequately skilled manpower to meet the
demand or need of the industry
Community Colleges can fill around 94%-96 % of the current skill deficit/Manpower
