becoming part of the Community Skills Program in the Vaal
Triangle where she is Project Manager in Midvaal.

Compu Skills Technology Initiative
Anna-Marie Wiese used her experience in the training
field to create opportunities to bring together the
needs of the people in the communities and investing
companies as part of their CSR. Computer Literacy in
School Management is a country wide project to en-
hance Information and Communication Technology in
the teaching methods in our schools.

Joseph Matimba has been
involved in various community
development, training, food
security and environmental-
greening programmes for more than twenty-five years.
These programmes include among others school projects,
capacity building, facilitation and educa-
tional resource Development. AMTrain-
ing is involved in Community Develop-
ment and Entrepreneurship programs
with Joseph Matimba.

COMPUTER LITERACY
IN SCHOOL MANAGEMENT
This SAQA aligned course covers the skills needed
by Principals, Vice Principals, HoD’s, Educators as
well as Administrators from Basic to Advanced
Computer skills.
AMTraining provides this opportunity at a
convenient time and place to suit the busy sched-
ules of educators all over the country, without any
cost to the educator/administrator, the school/
institution, or the local/national Department of Education.
Educators will have the confidence to take students into
established computer rooms for e-learning opportunities.
The skills gained in this course will enable educators to:
 Use information and communication technology in
the classroom
 Understand the computer and know how to use it in
the classroom
 Create documents for communication purposes
 Create spreadsheets to assist in record keeping for
daily use
 Create spreadsheets in order to do calculations
regarding school fees paid, test marks, exam marks,
etc.
 Communicate through electronic mailing internally,
with educators from other schools, with parents and
the DoE.
 Do research to assist in providing a higher quality of
education to learners in the classroom
 Develop fast and effective keyboard skills to assist in
daily tasks
Where schools have no established computer labs,
AMTraining will make use of mobile facilities e.g. laptops,
mobile computer rooms, tablets, etc.
Educators will also have the opportunity to attend electronic
white board sessions to enhance e-learning skills.
Coordinators and facilitators will
be employed from the local com-
munity, undergo internal training
as coordinators and/or facilitators
and will have the opportunity to
qualify as assessors and/or
moderators.
YOUTH PROJECT
COMMUNITY SKILLS PROGRAM
Our Transitional courses aim to enhance workplace skills
for unemployed people, including disabled youth, in our
communities to increase the chances of getting a job in a
stable organization (private sector and government
department).
These SAQA aligned short courses and skills programs
focus on skills needed to fill a position in the most
popular fields of work in several sector industries:
 Office Administration
 Health
 Safety
 Sales, Marketing
 Junior Management
 Technical Assistants
 Entrepreneurship
This program focus on knowledge, skills, experience as
well as business ethics and values.
Students will meet with a consultant to discuss career
preferences and may select a combination of courses in a
field of interest or complete only the short courses they
are interested in.
After receiving a statement of results for the theoretical
courses completed, students will do Work Integrated
Learning at committed companies or
organisations under mentorship where
after they will attend a job readiness
session to prepare for the job-seeking
and interview process. Students will
receive a certificate from an accredited
training provider.
Students will also be consulted on
further study opportunities at schools,
FET Colleges, Universities, and learner-
ships or skills programs in sector in-
dustries.

Investing into this program will have an extraordi-
nary impact on future learning in schools and pre-
pare our children for the electronic world of re-

 For short term or long term goals (1 year or
more)
 According to a limited budget
 In a specific number of educators (500 or
more)

This program allows the investor to become a major
role player and stakeholder in the development of
workplace skills for the youth of South Africa.
Investing companies will benefit from:
 Contribute to knowledge and skills of students
while job-shadowing during the mentoring
program
 CSR and CSI opportunities
 SDF grants from the relevant SETA
 Improving B-BBEE score
 Youth subsidy grants
In return for financial assistance, the use of facilities
e.g. computer labs, job-shadowing opportunities and
mentoring the students your may employ skilled
people from the community, trained according to
your list of job specifications.

  • 5. Project Managers: Community Skills Programs Kanelani Community Services Penelope Mbambo is a dynamite little lady who registered her Drop-in-Centre in 2012. She expanded her horizons by becoming part of the Community Skills Program in the Vaal Triangle where she is Project Manager in Midvaal. Ukukhanya Foundation Martins Mpotu is an action-driven young man who can make his audience belief in themselves. He is an excellent facilitator and strives to create new op- portunities for community members as the Project Manager in Emfuleni Compu Skills Technology Initiative Anna-Marie Wiese used her experience in the training field to create opportunities to bring together the needs of the people in the communities and investing companies as part of their CSR. Computer Literacy in School Management is a country wide project to en- hance Information and Communication Technology in the teaching methods in our schools. Make Africa Green Joseph Matimba has been involved in various community development, training, food security and environmental- greening programmes for more than twenty-five years. These programmes include among others school projects, capacity building, facilitation and educa- tional resource Development. AMTrain- ing is involved in Community Develop- ment and Entrepreneurship programs with Joseph Matimba.

BENEFIT TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS COMPUTER LITERACY IN SCHOOL MANAGEMENT This SAQA aligned course covers the skills needed by Principals, Vice Principals, HoD’s, Educators as well as Administrators from Basic to Advanced Computer skills. AMTraining provides this opportunity at a convenient time and place to suit the busy sched- ules of educators all over the country, without any cost to the educator/administrator, the school/ institution, or the local/national Department of Education. Educators will have the confidence to take students into established computer rooms for e-learning opportunities. The skills gained in this course will enable educators to:  Use information and communication technology in the classroom  Understand the computer and know how to use it in the classroom  Create documents for communication purposes  Create spreadsheets to assist in record keeping for daily use  Create spreadsheets in order to do calculations regarding school fees paid, test marks, exam marks, etc.  Communicate through electronic mailing internally, with educators from other schools, with parents and the DoE.  Do research to assist in providing a higher quality of education to learners in the classroom  Develop fast and effective keyboard skills to assist in daily tasks Where schools have no established computer labs, AMTraining will make use of mobile facilities e.g. laptops, mobile computer rooms, tablets, etc. Educators will also have the opportunity to attend electronic white board sessions to enhance e-learning skills. Coordinators and facilitators will be employed from the local com- munity, undergo internal training as coordinators and/or facilitators and will have the opportunity to qualify as assessors and/or moderators. YOUTH PROJECT COMMUNITY SKILLS PROGRAM Our Transitional courses aim to enhance workplace skills for unemployed people, including disabled youth, in our communities to increase the chances of getting a job in a stable organization (private sector and government department). These SAQA aligned short courses and skills programs focus on skills needed to fill a position in the most popular fields of work in several sector industries:  Office Administration  Health  Safety  Sales, Marketing  Junior Management  Technical Assistants  Entrepreneurship This program focus on knowledge, skills, experience as well as business ethics and values. Students will meet with a consultant to discuss career preferences and may select a combination of courses in a field of interest or complete only the short courses they are interested in. After receiving a statement of results for the theoretical courses completed, students will do Work Integrated Learning at committed companies or organisations under mentorship where after they will attend a job readiness session to prepare for the job-seeking and interview process. Students will receive a certificate from an accredited training provider. Students will also be consulted on further study opportunities at schools, FET Colleges, Universities, and learner- ships or skills programs in sector in- dustries.

FINANCIAL STABILITY & SUSTAINABILITY Projects such as the Community Skills Development program and Computer Literacy in School Management are funded by interested investors from investing communities willing to assist in the financial support for these projects as part of their CSR program. THE WAY FORWARD CSTi, Kanalani Community Services and Ukukhanya Foundation are constantly searching for Companies to invest in community projects to support government goals in upliftment and economical growth in our communities all over South Africa.
