At this scale: - The cell membrane would be about 1 cm thick. - The nucleus would be around 10 meters in diameter and contain chromosomes that are 2-10 meters long with DNA unravelled to 50 kilometers. - Organelles like mitochondria, ribosomes, the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus and lysosomes range in size from a few centimeters to a bag or rucksack. - The cytoskeleton would appear as protein fibers and tubules ranging from 0.5 to 2 cm thick.
