Music Video
Footage:
Great cinematography in the dance sequences. Excellent use of locations to make
for believable narrative. Excellent use of mis en scene.
Editing:
Edited well. Nice use of colour grading to show the past and present and the
moods between them. Edited well to the beat of the song.
Overall:
There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Nice use of choreography to depict the tone of the song. Would have been nice to
see the artist in the video.
Ancillary Task 1: Digipak
There is proficiency in the creative use of most of the technical skills. The layout
has been considered well and follows industry conventions. Images have been
framed, cropped, resized and edited well using photoshop filters. Text chosen is
appropriate. Would have been beneficial to be able to see the artist clearer on the
inside cover.
Ancillary Task 2: Poster
There is proficiency in the creative use of most of the technical skills. The layout
has been considered well and follows industry conventions. Images have been
framed and edited well matching the digipak. Social media tabs are matching in
style which is pleasing. Text could have been positioned better more a more
symmetrical aesthetic.
