2. When looking for suitable music for our opening I came
across a track that fitted our opening incredible well. However
this piece of music was copyright and therefore we was not
able to use the track un less we gain permission from the
owner of the track. I made an attempt to contact the owner of
the track however he did no get back to me. So we decided to
carry on our search else where. Below is a screen shot of the
track .
3. Again using YouTube we located a music
instrumental called “chi raq” by meek mill.
This sound had a constant beat to it which
was suitable for the character in our
opening sequence. However this music was
copyrighted. Sophie was able to gain
authorisation from the artist to use this
track. However later on we decided to
change the track as the music got annoying
and repetitive
4. Free sound.com was a website where you can use
different sound for free and are all copyright free. Here
is where we located our backing track for our opening
and had no problems with copyright issues. We search
for various sounds that would be suitable for our
opening. I took us only about 10 mins to find the
perfect one which also corresponds to the voice over we
have on our opening. Also for our opening sequence we
came up with the idea of implementing the sound of
sirens. This would be also be done by using free sound.
Free sound offered us different siren sounds that were
not suitable for our opening. However eventually we
found a sound that was really realistic and could be
incorporated into the opening sequence.
