Sound research:- From the start of my project I knew the genre I wanted and I was watching a movie called “Nerve” which had such an interesting soundtrack however at first I wasn’t aware that we had permission to use copy written music so I began to research “non-copy written songs” on YouTube and I began to listen to the songs available and honestly non of the songs I found where up to my standard and non suited the genre I was looking for. I began to research for hours to find the most suitable song, I looked through all of YouTube but everything was hype and upbeat, and the soundtrack I was looking for meant to give off about the genre which was chick-flick therefore the song was meant to be girly and happy full of emotions. I found the perfect song from a movie called “Nerve” and decided to use that song because it fit into my film perfectly, the beat was in sync. So I used the song from the soundtrack of the film and referred.
