4. THE INTERNET IN DISTANCE
EDUCATION
The widespread use of computers and the
internet have made distance learning easier
and faster, and it increased rapidly in almost
every country in both developed and
developing countries.
Due to these developments, the field of
distance education is growing.

model.
6. The capacity of Internet to support voice,
video, text and immersion teaching
methods.
Through the rapid development of internet
has resulted in systems such as:
- time and place flexibility

recordings.
10. LIMITATIONS OF INTERNET
The quality of information resources might not
always be reliable and accurate.
Searching of information can be very tedious.
Internet is definitely not 100% secure.
Limited bandwidth and slow modems , while the
requirements for audio and video are high.
12. No one technology is best for all
situations and applications. Different
technologies have different
capabilities and limitations, and
effective implementation will depend
on matching technological
capabilities to education needs.
