From my target audience’s feedback blacks, reds and other
sinister Gothic color schemes seem to be desired this is only
natural considering my target audience is compiled of
metal/rock fans, with regards to layout I intend to
incorporate an organized chaos style of layout with a lot of
activity on a single page, while it still however remains
coherent and clear, a style reminiscent of the weekly rock
magazine Kerrang.
Due to my target audiences age range 13-17 I intend to
break up a large amount of the main text by utilizing images
as my target audience of primarily young people do not
relish hours of never ending reading and absorbing endless
amounts of information.
The tone I intend to set through utilizing, adapting and
challenging the many conventions of magazine production is
one of edgy but fun maturity that will stimulate my target
audience’s interest in the music scene and potentially
introduce them to new artists and enhance there musical
appreciation and above all else I wish to create an viable and
desirable product that is capable of competing against some
of the best alternative music magazines in the business
Rocksound, Kerrang, Alternative Press etc.
