2. Planning feedback
Similar suggestions
show that our ideas
are very logical and
make sense to
those who haven’t
listened to the
whole planning
process before. It
also shows that the
final product will be
more likely to
achieve everything
we hope it will.
We were given some suggestions of what we could do with our
video to get all the effects and outcomes we want. This helps
us to consider ideas we haven’t thought of, it also gives us a
insight into the view of our potential audience.
3. Video feedback
Specific feedback was very
helpful, by mentioning things
like the camera shots I knew
exactly what worked and
where to focus on more
Mention of narrative in the
feedback shows me that it
was noticeable within the
video to someone who
hasn’t see the making of it
or been told the meaning s
behind any of it
Pointing out any negative points
with the video helped me to
improve before finalizing the video
and getting an outside view to
point out anything I might have
missed.
4. Digipak and Magazine
Feedback
This shows that the
research I did into
the old slipknot
albums and other
albums/magazine
adverts has helped
me and does have a
positive effect with
the audience.
Instantly recognizable labels on
the magazine advert shows that
they are effective and correctly
sized for the advert without taking
the attention away.
5. What I learnt
From my audience feedback and approach throughout the project I have learnt
a lot about how effective and influential audiences can be to a final product.
My audience feedback helped me to improve parts of my video I hadn’t even
noticed needed improvement. A fresh pair of eyes to watch a video they’ve
never seen before will notice more points of the video that work and don’t work
for the audience.
All other feedback has also helped greatly because every outside view has
helped me to improve the whole project in one way or another. This shows me
that I must always consider what the audience of my product thinks throughout
every stage because without it I could end up creating something that the target
audience dislike.
6. Common elements in
feedback
In the feedback I got from the planning stage of my project the audience appeared to
all like having some shots done in an outside environment, incorporating fire/burning
within the video, and also looking into the idea of using slow motions. This shows
that they all leant towards most of the conventions of the rock genre.
For my video the audience liked the pace if the edit. This was commented on a
few times where they mentions how the shot changes worked well with the
music and gave an overall positive effect on the video.
Finally, the feedback on my digipak and magazine advert was very
positive pointing out the use of labels and designs I’ve used. Making the
magazine and digipak look very professional and easily recognizable
with the band.
All these common elements within the feedback show that the audience are very
positive about all the elements which shows that the products will be successful.
