Client Presentation
24/04/2013
14.00pm – 14.15pm
Meeting called by: Heather Lomas, Leeanne Hibbert, Lewis Bradley
Attendees: Roger Sears
1. Hand Over Initial Video
I handed over my final piece to the Client after months of planning and creating. I chose to hand
over the product now as I had initially planned for the video to not take me that long to film and
create. Personally I think I could have been faster with this creation but due to technical
difficulties I was unable to complete the video in a reasonable amount of time. With this problem I
personally think that the handover of the video was within good timing.
2. Receive Clients Feedback
Once I had handed over the product to my client he was very impressed with what had come of
the initial plans. He was very happy with all the information I had included and stated he was
pleased with clever amount of images I had put into such a small video. He also enjoyed the
interviews with students and particularly commented on the enthusiasm from Leeanne’s approach
to talking about college. Overall he was impressed with the video outcome and mentioned that he
is strongly considering putting this video on the college website.
3. Discuss What I Did
When it comes to what I did my original intentions were to have a video walking in from the
college gates and then at the end of the video there would be another video to represent a
student leaving the college. I chose to not add the end video in as I thought it would make the
video too lengthy and also it didn’t fit well with what I was doing. I was impressed with the overall
outcome of my video as I wanted to add in many different transitions from each scene to another.
I also wanted to make a slideshow within the video of images from the college and Creative Media
department. With extensive research and using the software regularly I finally found a way to
make the slideshow I wanted so I was happy with that. The sound track I used in the background
of the video was very upbeat which I particularly liked as it added enthusiasm to the video by
making the college look welcoming and exciting to be in. As I continued to make the video on
Premiere elements I was unsure about the program and stated this to Roger when I was originally
discussing with him about the video creation. He mentioned for me to just continuously use the
program and I will become more and more involved and know the program and the way it works

easily. I took this point into account and managed to work the software rather well.
4. AOB
There is nothing else to discuss now as the project has finished. I need to write my initial
evaluation and then this project is complete.
