       Progress in the GLEs and class goals (discuss tomorrow) will
        be tracked on the wall at all times

       You will receive a progress report with your grade and
        personalized comments every two weeks

       If you would like to know your grade at any time, just ask me!

       See Ms. Popp at lunch or after school

       You have the number of days you were absent to make up the
        assignment.

       Minor Assignments: you must complete, but will not receive
        credit (i.e. homework that is checked but not graded)

  6. Okay, stories are great. I love reading and analyzing, and all that jazz, and we are going to do a lot of that. But English is about more than that. English gives you the strength to effectively communicate with you. The communication skills you will learn in this English class can, in my opinion, propel you into the office of the Presidency! That’s the highest office in our entire country, so if English can take you there, it is fair to say it can and will take you anywhere. [:18- :33]
