3. Who is Responsible for Bible
Education?
Deuteronomy 6:6-7:
• 6 And these words, which I command thee this
day, shall be in thine heart:
• 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy
children, and shalt talk of them when thou
sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest
by the way, and when thou liest down, and
when thou risest up.
4. • Statistically over 90% of parents, who
attend church regularly, entrust nearly all
of their child’s spiritual training to someone
who only has one hour each week to effect
that education
6. Your job as a teacher…
• To Do:
• Saturate yourself with the word of God
• Be guided by the Holy Spirit
• Guide the Students
• Don’t:
• Replace Scripture with your opinion
• Replace the Holy Spirit with your ability
• Replace Teaching with Material
7. You Teach…
• Some by your words…
• More by your actions…
• Most by your person
8. • The single most important factor that
influences learning is the life and personality
of the teacher.
Dr. Findley B. Edge
9. The teacher may teach
a little by what he says;
he teaches more
by what he does
but mostly by what he is.
C.B. Eavy

• 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some,

• There are 4 semesters of 13 weeks each year.
• Create a lesson plan for the year.
• Give your lesson plan to the church office to
have a record of what was taught.
• Try to teach the whole Bible every 3 years.
59. Take Care of the Material
• The material belongs to the Lord
• If we don’t take care of the material, we are not
taking care of the things of the Lord.
• Even though you are a member of the church, the
things in the church don’t belong to you! (Really!)
Please return all material to the church after use.
• If you take something from the church, you be
the one to bring it back. Don’t delegate your
responsibility!
60. New Material
• All Bible Characters except Samson should
have short hair! If the material has the
disciples or Jesus with long hair, give them a
hair cut!

63. Lesson Plans for Teens
(Ages 13-18)
• Teach the Bible but also teach practical things
for their lives such as…
– How to Pray

shouldn’t do, teach them how their lives can
be different if they put Christ first and as the
center of their lives!
64. 10:25 – 10:30 Plan of Salvation
• Repeat the Plan of Salvation Each Week.
• Teach the 4 basic things and repeat each
week:
1. We are all sinners.
2. The wages of sin is death in hell.
3. Christ died for our sins.
4. Salvation is by faith in Christ alone.
65. The Invitation
• Have all the children bow their heads and
close their eyes.
• Ask: If you are 100% sure that you will go to
Heaven when you die, please raise your hand.

and you are not 100% sure that you will go to
Heaven when you die, but you would like to,
please raise your hand now.

about what you are
teaching!
74. Object Lesson
• Use physical objects to teach a spiritual
lesson.
• Example: Two Balloons. One has air, and the
other has helium.
• The balloon with air represents the Christian
trying to do things in his own strength.
• The balloon with helium represents the
Christian filled with the Holy Spirit. He can do
things above and beyond his own strength!
78. Series Story
• A story that takes 3-5 weeks to tell.
• Makes the kids want to come back to hear the
rest.
• And the end of each story, tell them a little bit
about what they will learn the next week to
encourage them to come back.

copias al último momento!

class.

and they should not go look for them but go
to their next class.
94. Qué Hacer y Qué no Hacer
