media product and why?
Some Bauer Media brands are similar to my magazine as they are music
brands. Although my magazine would fit the profile of IPC media better as my
masthead has a similar layout to them. Bauer are a media company but they
seem to focus towards radio stations such as 4Music and Absolute radio,
whereas my brand is a music magazine similar to Q or NME. NME is one of the
brands that IPC distribute and this has the closest similarity to my magazine
style. My masthead would fit to IPC’s profile as it is very alike NME’s. The type
of distributor would be a music magazine distributor, who for instance has
labels/brands like NME and Q. Also brands such as NME and Q are of the same
genre of music as my music magazine as so would fit comfortably in the same
profile as them. Even brands such as billboard and VIBE have a similar layout
design, masthead and magazine content.
