Sandra: welcome to our presentation: We are Group No. 5 - Theatre of Retail.
Sandra: wide area of digital trends within retail.
research convinced us that trends in mobile payment
was most relevant, and would impact the retail industry the most.
Sandra: read agenda. Because of time constraints we can only scratch the surface of the different payment trends.
Sandra: the weaknesses of traditional payment types obvious. And the role of mobile changes day by day. Daniel will give you an example.
Daniel: What would you rather loose your mobile, or your wallet? If you rather lose your
wallet please stand up. (Count the number of standing people and figure out the majority) (Ask why to the people standing up) Mikkel talks about payment situations.
Mikkel: Our research showed that there is a technology for each type of payment situation. We chose to tell you about a few of them. The main benefit for all of them is that they are
Easy, fast, secure. Show movie.
Mikkel: e.g. Catching the train. wireless, no transaction, validation, small amount. Works within seconds.

Mikkel: Another payment is splitting bill.. let’s say I bought a pizza, and you are hungry?
Bjørn how would we usually fix that? Bjørn: Problems: netbank transfers, loong account numbers, easy to forget, hard to remind?
Bjørn: Wrap up give word to Jesper..
So Jesper what can you tell us about App Based payments?..
Say Bob here wants to buy a new t-shirt, and its really complicated and slow for him to fill out the credit card information into a web page...
Mobile web payments (WAP)
so the solution is the one button purchase throughout an application. But one thing you gotta have in mind when you use these kind of payment methods is that, trust the company that you give your payment information to, check them up and see if its a serious company before you sign up and buy stuff, so you really get what you pay for. These payment methods uses WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) as underlying technology, basically an application is used in a mobile device to make a payment. In other words you just press one button to make a purchase, for example app-store or itunes. You only need to add your personal information once. Borna what do you think? (say it joyful, happy, relaxed and funny)
Borna: Somtimes Bob likes to have his lights turned on, every time
he turns it on it will be added to his monthly bill. It would be annoying for him
to pay everytime. This is called DOB (Direct operator billing) and is often used
for gas, road pricing etc.
Now Björn will share some of our research with you.
Björn (Admiralen, Midday, Weekday, housewifes & elderly.)
Public opinion matters, “Cash Kortet”
Björn: Those who are too old.
Björn: those who dares..
Björn: those who don’t
Björn: Those who can’t.
Björn: those who tries
Now Borna is gonna talk about the consequences..
Borna: The costumers will get a smarter, faster and more secure payment technology that makes the everyday life easier.
Retailers can reduce cost on staff and transactions.
Society will aslo benefit as it will improve overall public productivity.
A potential drawback is that the consumers might feel that they’re personal integrity is under attack - retailers might  access personal information about their shopping behaviour.
Sandra, what can you say about the future..?

Sandra, what can you say about the future..?
Sandra: We found some indications that most future technologies would be RFID based, such as...
Example w. Cash Kortet - Died
Our research showed that RFID is a potential future trend..
Sandra: RFID Chip implant...
3 out of 6 in our group would want an RFID chip implant.
Imagine all the benefit, we got screws in our bodys anyways.
Mikkel: Durring a group meeting, we had an idea how we could contribute with our acquired knowledge in this field?
But first we have to do a small survey..
Mikkel: All who paid for every single item, please stand up.
Mikkel: let’s make a smarter payment system that will fix the problem. The technology that we propose is based on paypal bump.
Mikkel: How could we contribute, with our acquired knowledge in this field?
