Great use of depth in the design, such as the use of drop shadows and shading to create a more composed
peice of art. Links well to the theme and genre of the game 'Ninja Rush' in the sense that there is use of
character and elements from the game, for example the image used contains the main character holding a
weapon. This may give the viewer an idea of what app they are purchasing or downloading.The image used of
the character gives a strong view on his characteristics and the facial expressions shows some attitude, this
really helps build the theme of the game into the app icon using imagery.
The overall design effectively uses gradients and drop shadows which really help elevate the image as a whole.
The little use of colours may be boring but keeps the icon recognisable and relates it to the game.The strong
outline really bring the image out from the background of the app icon which create an eye catching design
great for being in the App Store.The simple use of colours also help as they do not complicate the design with
too many complex colours.
The outline used for the image of the character is slightly to bold and over powers some of the detail in the
image.
No language or any text was need or appropriate for the app icon as it is such a small design.
The uses of the game title could have been a possibility of some typography to use but other than that it
works well without any.
