Currently Brand Manager and Buyer for MANGO South Africa. With 6 years of
experience across various areas in the fashion retail industry I can offer a well
rounded approach to any fashion business. My objective is to put together a
coherent and commercial range of merchandise through initiating and executing

Buying season relevant merchandise from the MANGO collection and general
product management. My current portfolio requires the management of ap-
proximately 1200 options per season. I work alongside and manage a team of
6 people of which 3 of them report directly to me. MANGO has 7 stand-alone
stores and 30 shop in shops in Edgars. Currently the MANGO business is a 160
Million Rand business.
• Buying complete range (apparel and accessories) for Ladies, Men and Kids.
• Managing OTB according to performance and market analysis.
• Weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis and presentations on style and brand
performance.
• Product management through initiating and executing promotional and
mark down activities.
• Margin management through pricing product intelligently.
• Regular competitive shopping and trade visits to understand our position
within the market. Initiating and executing strategies accordingly.
• Working alongside planner to plan and manage stock movement.
• Manage and direct visual merchandise launches.
• Supporting marketing through direction and guidance in brand strategy.
• Ensure that brand is in line with MANGO International standards through
liaison with MANGO International on a daily basis.
