In the first didactic unit, I used the following materials:
The aim of this unit was:
- to introduce the Present Continuous tense its form and use,
- To make students aware of the importance of understanding the seriousness of
bullying.
Set of activities
First week:
➢ I used these pictures to ask students to predict “what Maluma is doing during the
pandemic”.
➢ I used the following text about Maluma to introduce the Present Continuous tense.
➢ In order to check students´ comprehension , I used the following worksheet:
➢ In order to put the new tense in its affirmative and negative forms into practice, I used
the following worksheet:
➢ At the end of this set of activities, I asked students to record themselves by saying
what they are doing during the pandemic. Then, I asked them to upload their
recordings to the following padlet:
Second week:
➢ To consolidate and review Present Continuous in its affirmative and negative forms, I
asked students to create a comic and write 2 sentences in the affirmative form and 2
in the negative form using the following app called “Cómica”:
➢ In order to introduce the topic Bullying, I used the following text:
➢ In order to check students ´comprehension, I asked students to play the following
online game:
➢ In order to review and consolidate vocabulary related to “BULLYING”, I asked students
to write 2 sentences explaining why their friends are crying. Then, I asked them to
upload their sentences to the school platform:
Third week:
➢ In order to review and consolidate the vocabulary learnt in the previous set of
activities, I asked students to play the following online game:
➢ In order to check students´ listening skill, I used the following worksheet:
➢ In order to review and consolidate Present Continuous in its interrogative form, I used
the following worksheet:

➢ In order to review and consolidate the Present Continuous in its interrogative form, I
used the following worksheet:
➢ In order to review and consolidate the vocabulary learnt in the previous set of
